Quick Hits: 2025 North Louisiana Fall ID
October 21, 2025
Ruston, LA - On October 19, 2025, the Prep Baseball Louisiana staff traveled to Louisiana Tech University to host our second open event of the fall with our North Louisiana Fall ID, which featured players in the state's 2026-2030 classes. Each participant went through a pro-style workout that consisted of running the 60 yard dash, defensive evaluations, and batting practice using Trackman Baseball and Blast Motion. Each pitcher threw a bullpen with Trackman Baseball running to receive all of their pitching data and metrics. Below, we take a look at some of the top performers from Sunday's event.

Joshua Browning 3B / RHP / Weston, LA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 220 / POS: 20
6-0, 200-pound physical frame with a strong lower-half. Browning had one of the better all-around BP rounds on Sunday. Starting slightly open, he uses a controlled leg-kick load to get to center before delivering a heavy barrel to contact that produced exit velocities up to 106.4 mph, and it wasn't just to the pull-side, as he showed the ability to drive the ball from gap-to-gap. The Weston product is a good uncommitted senior bat for programs looking to add to their 2026 class.

Jax Doiron LHP / 1B / Cedar Creek School, LA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 94 / POS: 15
6-4, 190-pounds with long limbs and plenty of room to continue to add strength. This was our second look at Doiron in the last month and he turned in the best bullpen at last Sunday's event. Working from exclusively from the stretch, he used a full arm stroke to release the ball from a high 3/4 slot. He located his 84-87 mph fastball well to both sides of the plate and the pitch flashed classic left-handed arm-side run. Doiron paired that with a much improved low-70s curveball and he was also able to kill spin with a late-fading 76-77 mph changeup.

Brayden Todd 1B / LHP / Evangel Christian Academy, LA / 2028Stocky and physical 6-0, 215-pound frame. The left-handed hitting sophomore first baseman made the park look small at Sunday's event. Starting in an upright and slightly open stance, Todd aggressively rotates his lower-half to turn the barrel with an uphill path through contact and to extension. He worked mostly to the pull-side during his BP round with a max exit velocity of 100.9 mph, as he sent several majestic shots out to right field. Todd will be a bat that we'll continue to monitor closely out of the northern part of the state.

Cooper Robinson C / 3B / Alexandria Senior, LA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 159 / POS: 21
5-11, 190-pound frame with present lower-half strength. The Alexandria Senior High product had a solid overall showing last Sunday and should be a catcher in the state's 2027 class to follow moving forward. A right-handed hitter, he starts in an upright and narrow stance with rhythm in his hands and uses a toe-tap load and stride. Robinson uses strong wrists & forearms to drop a direct path down to contact. He drove balls to the pull-side with exit velocities up to 98.2 mph. From the crouch, he showed solid receiving & blocking skills with a good arm (77 mph) and pop times of 2.09-2.16.

Landon Granger SS / OF / Acadiana, LA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 99 / POS: 18
5-11, 150-pound lean and wiry athlete with room to add strength. The Acadiana product is a versatile defender who showed a strong and accurate arm from the outfield up to 89 mph. A switch-hitter, he operates from a really simple set-up from both sides of the plate with a flat path to contact and level extension, which produced line drives to all fields. He's another uncommitted senior that should be a good follow coming out of the fall season.
