Top Tier Scout Day: Program Spotlight
October 22, 2025
The Top Tier Scout Day is set to take place on Wednesday, October 22nd at Centennial High School. This event will feature players exclusively from the Top Tier Las Vegas program, each aiming to display the progress they have made over the course of the busy summer schedule.
The Top Tier Scout Day allows our staff to evaluate prospects, while serving as an identifier for future invite-only events such as the West Coast Games, Top Prospect Games, Future Games, and more.
All highlights from the Top Tier Scout Day will be promoted on PrepBaseball.com. Prep Baseball is subscribed to by nearly 1000 colleges and pro scouts across the country. All results will be posted on the site; along with players’ highlights.

Top Tier Las Vegas: Program Spotlight
Top Tier Las Vegas is the latest expansion of the Top Tier program, which has been producing collegiate prospects for more than two decades. The Vegas arm has followed the blueprint of Top Tier HQ and spent the last year laying the foundation for a one-of-a-kind baseball player development program that revolves around creating opportunities for our players.
Top Tier Las Vegas is bringing decades of baseball excellence from Chicago and beyond to the Vegas Valley, offering an unparalleled experience.
Notable Alumni who have come through the Program
We're still in the infancy of our time in Vegas, so we're still without our first college commit, but we're not far from joining Top Tier HQ in the thousands of college commits and pro ball players.
What are the expectations of players who put on your uniform?
"Expect Greatness" isn't a catchy hashtag. It's the backbone of everything we do here.
Every player in our Program, regardless of age level, will be provided with every resource possible to be the best they can be and play this game at a high level for a very long time.
But our players are expected to embrace and take full advantage of those resources. There's no shortage of places to play. We aren't a place to play. We're a place to develop and thrive. Every player here has to live up to those standards.
Top Uncommitted Upperclassmen
As a new program in the Valley, we don't have many upperclassmen, but the ones we do have are names to know. SS/RHP Antonio Whitney (2027) and 3B/RHP Maddox Sedlacek (2027) are two names everyone should know.
Whitney is a right-handed hitting shortstop who I consider a top-five defensive shortstop in Nevada, hits at the top of every order, steals bases at a state-best clip, and has been absolutely untouchable on the mound this fall.
His fastball is 79-81 and gets past guys regularly. He pairs it with a curveball that has spin for days and has been mystifying to opposing hitters this year.
When it comes to intangibles and IQ, I challenge anyone to show me someone who has more.
Sedlacek is a specimen. He's a 6-3, 220-pound third baseman and right-handed pitcher who can play both corner outfield positions. His Rapsodo data is eye-popping, with his fall baseline testing showing 90.1 MPH average exit velo, hitting triple-digits with regularity with a wood bat.
His fall has fallen in line with those numbers, with four home runs in four tournaments.
Sedlacek also hits 80+ MPH with his fastball and has a curveball and changeup that get past hitters.
Uncommitted Underclassmen to Know
Ty Kincaid is the No. 1 LHP in Nevada, and that's not by luck. The 6-4 LHP was a Super Sophomore Games participant last month and has his fastball sitting 78-80 (T82), with arm side run and late action. His curveball is 67-69, and his slider has elite tunneling profiles.
That said, he will gain at least 5 MPH this winter with some simple mechanical changes that our player development staff has identified since he joined our program.
He's also an above-average first baseman with a compact swing that generates plenty of velocity.
Our program's current strength lies in our freshman class, which features two-way players like Black Bedard and Ethan Macanas from Faith Lutheran who are two-way players.
Bedard is a 6-0 LHH who plays the corners in the infield and sits at 78-80 on the bump. Macanas is a middle-infielder who shares the same profile as Bedard on the mound and has incredible on-base skills at the top of the order at the dish.
Anything else you would like to add to highlight Top Tier?
There are a multitude of players to highlight, speaking to the strength of the program and the talent level of the players.
But the most important thing to note is the strength of our player development staff, who set the tone for all of this. From our Coaching Coordinator Stephen Whitney to our position coordinators Shane Taylor, Nathan Erbach, and Brandon Kotake, and every coach that works under them, we have the best Player Development staff in Vegas, and being able to say that, less than a year into this journey, speaks volumes to those people and that buy-in level to what we're trying to accomplish here, which is to pump as many Valley kids into college as humanly possible.
