On Tuesday, September 23rd, the Prep Baseball Illinois staff hosted the Chicagoland Fall ID at Lee Pfund Stadium in Carol Stream, IL. This event was not the largest on our calendar, but it was filled with talent and gave our staff a close look at all in attendance.

Today, we are taking a look at every single prospect from the day, along with a Top-3 ranking of who our staff thought showed the best in-event.

RHP Michael Garner (Willowbrook, 2027) gave a loud look at the event with a fastball up to 86 mph and sharp breaking ball to pair. He also looks to have more in the tank, listed at 6-foot-3, 185-pounds.

INF Isaac Hendricks (Von Steuben, 2028) is a young, upside name to follow from the day. He has a clean swing with a line-drive approach that should only continue to trend up in the coming years with added strength. He’s also a quality defender on the infield with steady hands and a clean release.
