Jancarlos Rodriguez RHP / OF / Cardinal Hayes, NY / 2024Rankings StateRank: 64 / POS: 27
Rodriguez was a standout pitcher during the NE Juco Jam in Cortland, New York for Cayuga CC. In a quick, efficient, 1-2-3 inning of work he displayed an electric fastball that popped out of his hand and a banger curveball that buckled multiple hitters. His fastball was 88-90 mph, and the curveball was 73-77 mph in his inning of work. He is an uber twitchy mover on the mound with a lean, projectable frame that has tremendous upside. Pitcher to watch this upcoming season.

Dariel Cipion RHP / SS / PCTI, NJ / 2024
Dariel has a frame and build to dream on, 6 ‘0 and 160-pounds with quick, wiry movement patterns off the mound. He attacked the zone for multiple innings while maintaining a fastball between 83-85 and topped 86 mph. He mixed in a slider with a big horizontal break for strikes and whiffs between 74-77 mph. His cutter was firm with tight, short movement at 81 mph. His outing was impressive with an even more impressive competitive edge.

Jimmy Ernst C / OF / Kellenberg Memorial, NY / 2024
Another Lackawanna College standout player was freshman Jimmy Ernst. From at-bat number one until his last at-bat, he worked high quality at-bats while making loud contact including a ground rule double over the 390-foot center field fence. Ernst has a strong, physical frame with present lower strength. He hits from a simple, repeatable setup that allows him to handle high velocity consistently while not compromising his power. True freshman to keep an eye out for.
