Kansas Summer Rankings Update: Class of 2028
October 29, 2025
After a packed summer season and the fall come to a close, the Prep Baseball Kansas staff has once again updated the state’s 2028 rankings. We have our biggest updates to date after our loaded tournaments and showcase season. We saw over 150 talented sophomores with more than 60 new names making their rankings debut as we expand the list to 100 players. This class is headlined by a projectalbe righty that is already throwing stikes in the upper 80s, an all state right-hander, a couple of infidlers who are not only toolsy, but have the skill to match.
It is important to note that in an update this large, there are players who may decline in total rank—even with improvement and passing some peers—simply due to the number of names added. For an in-depth look at how we put our rankings together, click HERE.
Notable changes to these rankings include five prolific risers in the top 10 and five newcomers in the top 30.

He has proven he can stick on the left side of the infield for the foreseeable future and be a reliable middle-of-the-order bat against the best arms around.
