Gaskey has had one of the more impressive calendar years we have seen in the 2028 class. His constant development and impressive performances were a key factor in his rise in the ranks in the updated summer rankings. The number 6 ranked right-handed pitcher boasts a physical frame of 6-foot-1 and 203-pounds. 

On the mound, you can tell Gaskey is a multi-sport athlete. He has noticeable lower-half strength and explodes down the slope of the mound. He throws a fastball that has been up to 87.2 mph and typically sits 84-86 mph. He flashed a curveball at 71-74 mph and a changeup at 77-79 mph. His curveball has a traditional 12-6 curveball shape with a spin rate over 2,400 rpm. During his outing at the PA Summer Top Prospect Games, Gaskey was dominant. He attacked the zone with all three pitches and induced whiffs in the zone and out of the zone. He established the heater early and put hitters away with the 12-6 curveball. 

Overall, this multi-sport athlete has the makeup of a high-level athlete and a high-level pitcher. Gaskey looks to be one of the Keystone State’s premiere pitchers for years to come.
