California State Games: 2027 Outfielders

Starting on July 30th, the Prep Baseball California team hosted the California State Games at Fullerton College and High School in Fullerton, Cal. This was an invite-only event for high school classes (2026-2029), and gave our staff an ample look at the state's top prospects.

Today, we will continue the release of the scouting reports from the event, now with the 2027 outfielders:
TOP 2027 OUTFIELDERS
1. Jordan Hall, Summit High (CA), 2027
Positional Profile: OF/1B Power bat with lots of pop and projectable fielding attributes.
Body: 6-5, 215-pounds. Tall, athletic frame with present strength throughout.
Hit: RHH. Balanced, even stance. Knees slightly bent. Front foot offset. Hands kept high behind ear with elbow flared out. Medium leg kick stride. Loads into back leg. Hands cast slightly outward. Lands soft on front foot. Rotates well after load. 70.6 mph bat speed with 13g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 94 mph max exit velocity (84.4 avg.); 346-foot max batted distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 80 mph. High 3/4 arm slot. Long release with loose finish. Shows ASR.
Defense: Long, calculated strides. Natural fielder with glove. Long, efficient crow hop.
Athletic Testing: 7.00 runner in the 60-yard dash; 23.50-inch max vertical jump.
