Prep Baseball Summer Review Series Week 5: Super 15
October 1, 2025
Midwest Premier Super 15
The Midwest Premier Super 15 is one of the Midwest’s top showcases for the freshman class, providing an exciting preview of the next three years in high school baseball. This year’s field was loaded with talent—much of it still untapped—but several players managed to separate themselves over the course of the week. In this week’s Summer Review series, we recap the Super 15 semifinals and championship game, spotlighting top performers, MVPs, and LJ’s Lineup.
Semifinal 1
Semifinal 1 of the Super 15 had fireworks right from the jump as Building Champions 15U Navy squared off with Arkansas Prospects Platinum. The Prospects wasted no time, with Jayden Stegner driving in Reid Felder in the top of the 1st and later swiping home for an early 2–0 lead. But Building Champions came out swinging in the bottom half, exploding for four runs behind doubles from Charlie Foote and Brodee Rawlins, plus a clutch RBI knock from Mason Stein.
The momentum kept rolling in the 2nd as BC piled on five more, fueled by RBI hits from Jagger Jackson and Liam Axtell to take full control. Arkansas tried to claw back in the 5th, plating two runs on a Brody Brown single and an error, but the rally was short-lived. In the bottom half, Hunter Horner and Brodee Rawlins doubled to put the finishing touches on a dominant 12–4 win, sending Building Champions storming into the finals.
Semifinal 2
The second semifinal of the Super 15 brought Oklahoma Fuel 2028 Allen up against Indiana Bulls Black, and the Bulls came out firing. Kayden Adams ripped a one-out double in the 1st to plate two and set the tone early. The Fuel answered back in the bottom half with a Parker Allen RBI single to cut into the lead, but the Bulls weren’t done. In the 2nd, they piled on three more runs the hard way—drawing three straight bases-loaded walks to stretch it to 5–1.
From there, both offenses went quiet until the 6th, when Billy Miller broke things open again with a towering double off the wall that brought in two more runs. Down 7–1, the Fuel tried to mount a last-inning rally, scratching across a run on a Zayden Khalil RBI single and a couple of walks, but the Bulls slammed the door to secure a 7–2 victory and punch their ticket to the championship.
