With the release of the latest update to our state rankings for the 2026 class, it’s a great time to take a closer look at some of the top remaining uncommitted prospects in the class. With plenty of talented players still available, our staff will dive in and highlight the top five uncommitted prospects from each position group. We’ll kick this series off by taking a look at the five top ranked uncommitted middle infielders, with a short breakdown of each prospect.

Jacob Fladebo SS / OF / Legend, CO / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 20 / POS: 4 Fladebo is an excellent athlete, with a blend of speed and strength that should translate to the next level. At the plate, we've had him well into triple digits, topping out at 102.4 mph. That strength translates to defense as well, where we gunned him at 88 mph throwing across the infield and 92 mph from the outfield. He displayed his speed in the 60, clocking an impressive 6.53.

Josh Weaver SS / RHP / Fruita Monument, CO / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 23 / POS: 6 Weaver profiles as a prospect with some true two-way potential at the next level. As a middle infielder, we've seen him put up some nice numbers, including good arm strength, tossing it around the infield at 86 mph. At the plate, he's produced exit velocities up to 96.6 mph in BP, while holding an average exit velocity of 91.4 mph.

Cole Pfeifer SS / 3B / Ralston Valley, CO / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 24 / POS: 7 Pfeifer is a high-ceiling prospect, who has another level to unlock in his game as he adds some more strength to his longer frame. Presently, he's displayed some nice power numbers both at the plate and defensively with solid arm strength.

Anthony Misch SS / 2B / Lutheran, CO / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 41 / POS: 11 Misch is another nice athlete that will be looking to take a jump this spring as he adds some more strength. Last winter when we saw him, he was producing exit velocities in the low 90s, and was in the low 7s with his 60 yard time.

Keegan Millikan SS / 2B / Arvada West, CO / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 46 / POS: 13 Millikan is an athletic middle infield prospect, with solid metrics across the board. At the plate, we've had him up to 95.7 mph EV, and in the field he's been gunned at 82 mph throwing across the diamond. He's also displayed good speed, clocking a 6.81 second 60 yard dash.
