As always, our evaluation process is fluid and ongoing, built on multiple viewings and discussions to get the most accurate feel for each player’s abilities. It’s worth noting that while some players show rapid improvement, this doesn’t suggest that others have regressed—player development is simply a journey with peaks and valleys. As the season unfolds, new names will continue to surface, expanding the universe of top prospects in Nevada. In addition to our player evaluations, our scouts—both in-state and nationally—have been in constant dialogue, comparing notes and making adjustments based on the latest insights to ensure the rankings are as up-to-date and accurate as possible.

Jake Turner OF / LHP / Centennial, NV / 2027Rankings StateRank: 1 / POS: 1
Holding down our top spot, Turner has continued to see his game transcend over the past year with "real" actions on both sides of the plate that has helped him earn his spot in the 2025 Prep Baseball All-American Game. An obvious standout at the Prep Baseball ProCase - West earlier this Summer, the TCU commit put on an offensive show during the event's batting practice session where he left the yard multiple times at a pitcher friendly park at Pepperdine. The present tools and projectable, 6-foot-3 frame make this a player who you will be hearing a lot more "Draft Talk" about over the next few years, and deservingly so.
