Pitchers
Pitching was one of the brightest spots that came out of the Super Sophomore Games, with several Florida pitchers making some serious jumps. RHP Nolan Slaymaker has established himself as one of the top arms in the 2028 class and was up to 90 this past weekend. RHP Trigg Listerman got the start in Game 1 of the Super Sophomore Games and was impressive. Still very lean with room to add strength. Fastball was up to 87 and showed confidence in the off-speed. In Game 2, RHP Justin Howell got the start and showed some interesting fastball metrics. Up to 85 and averaged 20 inches of IVB. The fastball should continue to jump as he gets stronger. Howell also showed a swing and miss curveball. On Sunday, LHP Jessie Feast got the start. The 6'2" southpaw showed a fastball up to 84. He controlled three pitches for strikes with a slider that flashed sharp and a confident changeup. Other pitchers that impressed in their outings were Conner McGuire up to 88, Luke Straw up to 87, Clayton Gerrell up to 87, Jacob Collins up to 86, and Carter Hawk up to 82.

Catchers
The Florida catching group impressed at the Super Sophomore Games in both the workout and gameplay. Florida catchers were among the top of the leaderboards for pop times at the event, with Jacob Collins (1.85) finishing second among all players. Not far behind him were Clayton Gerrell (1.86), Nico Ayars (1.86), and Bennett Malone (1.87). Rounding out the Florida catchers with sub-2.00 pop times were Curtis Rinne (1.94) and Tommy Giro (1.98). The Florida catchers controlled the run game during gameplay with multiple caught base-stealers.

Corner Infielders
Luke Straw continues to be one of the top players in the 2028 class and is young for the class, still at 15.3. The LHH 3B tallied multiple hits throughout the weekend and displayed a smooth LH stroke in BP that generates pull-side power. 1Bs Kanin Summey and Nolan Slaymaker showcased some of the biggest power at the event. Slaymaker finished third in exit velo at 102.4 while Summey was up to 97.9. Both look to be middle-of-the-order impact bats with power to all fields. 3B Conner McGuire showed two-way ability with a long, wiry frame that he uses to create leverage at the plate. Chance for power as he gets stronger, and put together multiple hits this weekend. 3B Carter Hawk tallied multiple extra-base hits at the event as well.

Middle Infielders
SS Evan Swope had an impressive weekend at the Super Sophomore Games. A true gamer who can play multiple positions. Swope had multiple hits and hard-hit balls during gameplay. SS Drew Collins continues to impress offensively as he had multiple barrels throughout the weekend. 2B Hudson Rivera showed athleticism up the middle and versatility to play multiple positions. SS Shaurya Bhosale continues to make jumps physically. Offensively, the ball jumps off the bat and his EV has made a jump along with his arm strength. SS Jackson Evans found barrel after barrel in BP and carried it to gameplay, where he got multiple hits. Hayden Ramos and Harvey Coots each collected multiple hit days this weekend.

Outfield
The Florida outfield group was small, but both outfielders, Kade Maltz and Mason Greco, had strong showings this weekend. Both ran sub-7.00 60s. Maltz showed some big power during the showcase and gameplay. Greco showed more gap-to-gap, but ran into one during gameplay that went off the wall.
