West Suburban Summer ID: Pitcher Analysis

By: Illinois Scouting Staff

On Tuesday, July 1st, the Prep Baseball Illinois staff hosted the West Suburban Summer ID at Lee Pfund Field in Wheaton, IL. This event always proves to be one of the more talented on the summer circuit, and this year was no different with numerous players going on to earn invites to invite-only events like the Illinois State Games and even the Senior Future Games.

Today, we are finishing up our post-event content with a look at every single pitcher from the day, along with a ranking of who our staff thought showed the best in their ‘pens.

A right-hander to note that also showed well as a position player is RHP Emmanuel Deoudes (IC Catholic Prep, 2026). He has a trim, athletic 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame and moves athletically down the mound before transitioning into a higher, over the top slot. His fastball played in the low-80s, topping at 83 mph and paired with a splitter and slider.
