Prep Baseball Report

Seattle Summer Review - Pitching Data Dive

Dylan Grenz
Associate Scout

On Tuesday August 12th, Prep Baseball Washington hosted the Seattle Summer Review at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue, Washington. Prep Baseball scouts evaluated high school athletes in the 2026-2030 graduating classes, with several strong showings throughout the event.

Prep Baseball events serve as an important tool for both Prep Baseball scouts and college recruiters, who will subsequently create lists of prospects to follow as they plan their scouting coverage throughout the year. We often tend to see prospects' best showings at Summer events, as players are fresh off playing for their respective high schools and are in the routine that consistently playing in-game offers. Standout performances can lend invites to some of the year's top events, including the Pacific Northwest State Games, the West Coast Super Sophomore Games, and Pacific Northwest Preseason All-State.

Earlier, we released our Quick Hits, detailing scouting notes on standout players, our Statistical Analysis, looking at leaders in major stat categories, and our Positional Data Dive, focusing specifically on leaders in position player metrics. Today, we conclude our post-event content with our Pitching Data Dive, looking at leaders in pitching metrics at the event. For all other post-event content, click here
