In need of '27 arms? We have a cheat sheet for that, as well, found at this link.
Top 3️⃣
Our top three position players as the list stands now...
![]() |
Isaiah Snavely SS / 3B / R Nelson Snider High School, IN / 2027+ One of the premier offensive profiles, nationally, within the 2027 class. Snavely's left-handed stick has drawn big buzz over the course of the last year and has put him in premier position to be one of the highest-touted shortstop nationally. He pairs 6.6 speed with electric hands and speed in the barrel head to establish an easy speed/power profile that comes naturally to the 6-foot-3, 190 pounder. The feet are the best attribute in the middle, covering ground with a graceful aggressiveness, while offering sure-handed actions to finish plays. With continued polish, Isaiah is on a fast-track to becoming a highly-scouted name as this class ages to their senior season. |
![]() |
Drake McClurg OF / Center Grove, IN / 2027+ Playing hard at all times and shining brightest when the stakes are highest - McClurg remains as a premier position player amongst this group with above average to better grades in nearly every quantifiable category, while the makeup/toughness/competiveness elevates all. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound elite athlete is a slam dunk to stick in CF with 6.5 speed that shines all over, pairing well with a best-in-class arm that reached 93 from the OF. The contact skills fit a tablesetters' mold while impact has steadily grown over a four-year follow. The switch-hit ability and flashes of all five tools make McClurg one of the more dynamic Midwest bats for 2027. |
![]() |
Grady Nelson 1B / OF / Warsaw Community High School, IN / 2027+ A big presence in the box with a sturdy, 6-foot-4 frame - Nelson offers future plus raw power with quality contact skills that creates one of the more valuable run-producing prospects that the Midwest has to offer for 2027. Moving well for his XL frame, Nelson holds some upside as a potential corner outfielder with continued refinement, but make no mistake - the value is in the bat here. The raw power is immense here but unlike most young sluggers, the ability to put bat to ball stands out most while the pure strength amplifies that consistent contact. |
Premium Infield Depth
5 infielders that offer high-level traits and tools that stand out amongst their peers...
![]() |
Camden Moore 3B / RHP / Zionsville, IN / 2027+ 6-foot-5, 205-pounds with a pro-bodied frame and loud tools that litter the card. Moore's combination of elite size, a plus arm that plays into the low-90s on the bump and across the diamond, and over-the-fence power from the right-side leaves serious intrigue as a potential high-end prospect from this group. He moves well for the frame, boasting a 6.90 time in the 60-yard dash, and can easily play all four corner infield spots at an above average clip. |
![]() |
Parker Robinson SS / 3B / Lake Central, IN / 2027+ Silky on the dirt with a pro-look to the 6-foot-4, 205-pound frame, Robinson offers a strong mix of present tools and traits with the afforementioned frame bringing future value as well. The physical right-handed hitter flashes gap-to-gap power with the ability to leverage the ball with authority to that part of the field. He feels like a slam dunk to stick on the left-side with the infield actions and plus arm strength considered, and he carries his weight well with a recorded 6.73 60-yard dash. |
![]() |
Ben Canada SS / 3B / St Theodore Guerin High School, IN / 2027+ The 6-foot-2ish frame oozes projection and there is serious silk to the offensive operation. He hits from the left-side with flashes of easy juice produced, and he took a couple swings throughout the week to shows hints of more to come. Defensively, the actions really look the part when the ball is between his feet. His hands work, as does the arm, with a power hitting 3B profile feeling like the best projections for now. There is still a chance for him to stay up the middle as he adds strength/explosiveness, but the pure upside intrigued plenty and will likely garner him plenty of attention in the coming days... |
![]() |
Liam Delp SS / CF / Center Grove, IN / 2027+ One of the more dynamic up-the-middle prospects in this class, Delp is a bona fide gamer with real twitch to the 5-foot-9 frame that creates a loud, usable toolset. His best tool is his feet, a gifted athlete with a quick-footed nature, and he's burned 60s into the 6.5s. While the offensive profile is geared more towards line drive contact, there is impact ability stemming from lightning hands that bring exits north-of 100+ mph in batting practice settings. To round out the card, Delp can really stick it on the dirt, playing aggressive downhill with an arm that is a clear tool, as well, reaching into the low-90s across. |
![]() |
Grady Grant SS / RHP / Center Grove, IN / 2027+ A true shortstop that holds defensive value at that position, Grant thrived defensively throughout 2025 with offensive impact developing at a strong rate, too. The 5-foot-11, 165-pounder moves with a graceful ease on the dirt with soft, adjustable hands and a strong arm across that plays with real carry. As a left-handed hitter, Grant offers a short, quick, contact-oriented pass with some pull-side impact shown at times throughout the summer. While the toolset doesn't jump off the page, the actions and unquantifiable hit/glove tools are valued most with Grady. |
Bullish Outlook
Two of our favorite OF bats in the class that we remain immensely bullish on as top 10 players in this group
![]() |
Mason Meyer OF / C / Mt Vernon High School, IN / 2027+ If I were recruiting this class, Meyer would've been one of my first calls on 8/1 - a hard-nosed, ultra-impactful athlete that carries my favorite right-handed hit tool in the class. Compact with clear twitch and strength in a 5-foot-10 frame, Meyer produced triple-digit exits with an explosive, short swing that has proved reliable against premier pitching. He runs a 6.5 and that foot speed shows in CF, his likely long term position where he shows an arm up to 93 (tied with McClurg for best in class), and the arm/athleticism translate behind the dish as well. |
![]() |
Clark Bucher OF / Hamilton Southeastern HS, IN / 2027+ A silky mover with some of the biggest upside in class, Bucher enjoyed a breakout 2025 with offensive impact elevating from both sides of the dish. There is true switch hit ability here, though the left seems a bit more productive in my follows. Regardless, he boasts impacts into the mid-90s from both sides with the ability to get the ball in the air. As strength is packed onto the 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame, those impacts should continue to elevate. Along with the bullish offensive outlook, Bucher offers some promise as a future CF with a recorded 6.77 60 and a graceful gait when tracking in the gaps. |
Frontline Catching Prospects
Indiana has not had 3 P4 catchers in one class in 5+ years, this group will look to change that...
![]() |
Cooper Collins C / Lincoln, IN / 2027+ As elite as a defensive catcher can be for the age, Collins is a true game-changer defensively with a plus arm from the crouch and the insticts to know when to use it. Point blank - his ability to shut down the run game is special and he pairs it with an unmatched motor behind the dish. The defense is well-ahead of the bat, but there is some offensive production in a short, laggy, inside-the ball swing that produces ball flights to the middle of the field with average impacts.
|
![]() |
Luke Brown C / 1B / Evansville Memorial, IN / 2027+ A high-ceiling, 6-foot-4, 185-pound backstop that is just scratching the surface of his potential. He receives at an average to above clip and carries the ball exceptionally well from the crouch with bullets to second base in the low-80s. Offensively, there is some quirk to the late tip-to-trigger but he pulls the barrel through with fast hands and showed a knack for hard contact throughout my looks on the summer circuit. Ultimately - it's a pro-bodied backstop with several traits to dream on and productive traits present.

![]() |
Jackson Harris C / 1B / Carmel, IN / 2027+ Harris passes the eye test with a physical, 6-foot-2, 192-pound frame and silky stroke from the left-side. There is real intrigue offensively in the smooth nature of the operation and blossoming strength that was put on full display at this years' Future Games. Harris whistled a pull-side homer on Night 2 in Atlanta that gained him recognition and was a strong summation of the impact offensive potential that he does hold. While the offensive upside is my most valued trait, he also shows well defensively with some receiving instincts and a well-above average arm from the crouch that plays into the low-80s.

10 More Names to Know
Ten names that will follow the prospects above in our next rankings update, all well within the top 50. Strong follows for our staff that should be on recruiting coordinator's radars...
+ SS Brayden Ring (Zionsville HS) - 6-foot, 175-pound sure-handed shortstop with present athleticism and body control that will only get enhanced by strength gains. Has the potential to stick at short long term with the actions and a mid-80s arm across. Runs a 6.96 60 while offering an on-plane, line drive oriented stroke that allows him to spray the ball to all parts. His offensive abilities are enhanced by very strong strike zone awareness.
+ OF Colin Axel-Adams (Pendleton Heights HS) - Twitchy, 6-foot, 170-pound left-handed hitting outfielder with strong feel to hit. Rhythmic pre-pitch moves flow with ease into a twitchy launch and the flat-pathed barrel holds enough strength to produce near triple-digit exits. Present gap-to-gap power has a chance to keep elevating. Some speed/power present with the 6.81 60-yard dash he has posted.
+ OF Ben Schaeffer (Mt. Vernon HS) - Undersized gamer with a knack for the barrel. Quick hands deliver a short, on-plane swing and there is quality adjustability shown. Fits the mold of a tablesetter with premier contact skills, though he has shown 97+ exits in a showcase setting. Ran a 6.9 60 in the winter with above average arm strength, strength gains / maturity are likely to take the toolset to another level.
+ OF Lincoln Hoffman (Westfield HS) - Strong makeup kid with a physical frame and short left-handed stroke. Compact, 5-foot-11, 190-pound frame produced above average impacts with exits nearing triple-digits and a 6.7 60-yard dash to pair with it. Plenty of bat speed shown, plays hard at all times. Despite the 60, Hoffman profiles best as a bat-first corner guy with the offensive production providing the value.
+ 3B/P Carter Strole (Fishers HS) - 6-foot-4, 195-pounder with a premier frame and two-way upside. Showed some power as a sophomore with near triple-digit exits and at least gap-to-gap extra base hit power shown in my follows. There is a chance for continued growth from a power perspective with the leveraged nature of the right-handed swing. He is an average to better defender at 3B with the arm strength to stay there, while there is some two-way upside with a fastball up to 87 that comes with solid control.
+ OF Mark Neels (Carmel HS) - Highly-intriguing athlete with real explosive capabilities. One of the louder offensive toolsets amongst OF in this group is highlighted by a recorded 6.46 60-yard dash and exits that surpass 95 mph. Short, tight swing plays with some bat speed. Has made strong strides within his development over the past 12 months.
+ OF/P Paxton Lukac (Andrean HS) - Quick-twitch athlete with two-way upside. Saw some time as a sophomore for Andrean last season and should take on an impact role next spring. 6.5 runner with upper-90s exits stemming from a twitchy, level, rotational swing. Should stick in CF, but does hold two-way upside with a heater up to 89 this summer and a high-spin slider. Ultimately - the athlete is what I value here.
+ OF Amari Moore (Lawrence North HS) - Another high-level athlete in this class that found tons of success on the summer circuit. Switch hitter, but the right-side comes naturally and there is more polish there for now. Regardless, Moore is a 6.6 runner with upper-90s exits that will flash a premier look at times. The offensive game has some inconsistencies to date, but the athlete is what I value most here, and I think he is a lock to stick in CF.
+ OF Shane Bardwell (Homestead HS) - Following suit, Bardwell provides impact foot speed with a left-handed bat that shows both impact and bat-to-ball ability. A compact, athletic, 5-foot-11, 190-pounder - Bardwell found success for Homestead this spring with his short left-handed stroke playing with strength at times. His exits reached 99+ in the winter, but the in-game swing is geared closer to contact-oriented to allow his 6.8 speed to play.
+ SS Kaden Crumes (Yorktown HS) - Crumes was a close follow throughout the summer after shining bright in a spring look for Yorktown. The athletic, 5-foot-10, 165-pounder shows advanced actions on the dirt with clean feet, soft hands, and a playable transfer. The arm plays closer to average from a strength perspective but he can quick release. Offensively, there is feel to hit with an athletic swing that flashes some pull-side power and exits near-95 mph. The toolset does not jump off the page, but I value the athletic movement patterns at all times and the ability to take care of the baseball in the middle.
