Jerron Miles SS / Silver Creek High School, IN / 2026+ From (Spring Scout Blog) - The 6-foot-3, 185 pound athlete showed good actions during I/O at SS with a loose arm that played with carry across. He DH’d in this look hitting out of the Silver Creek three hole, didn’t do any real damage but reached base via BB. Very projectable body and can dream about power potential. High follow. |

Nathan Sutherlin SS / OF / Greencastle High School, IN / 2026+ From (Spring Scout Blog) - Sutherlin has been swinging a hot bat this spring and through 14 GP: .510 avg, 6 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR. He is a 6-foot-3, 195 pound athlete playing in the middle with serviceable actions and above average arm strength, with a chance to polish and stick on the left-side long-term. The bat is the carrying tool and was on display on this night. He sets up in a tall, open stance with a rhythmic move to time and trigger. He is controlling his weight better this spring, something that I think is attributed to the obvious strength gains he added this winter. The swing works on a shorter path and he flashes the ability to match plane for G2G power. He is an average runner, but the hit tool establishes a safe floor and the body projects to add even more strength that should continue to louden the hit tool. |

Reid Turner SS / 2B / Yorktown High School, IN / 2026+ From (2025 Top Prospect Games) - Turner has been to two events this summer and each time, he has spent the entire batting practice going full-boar taking groundballs at shortstop. This kid can really pick it, and the motor for the game shines even in a showcase setting. The infield actions are some of the best in the class and he has enough arm strength to stick at SS long term (up to 88). Offensively, his 5-foot-11, 160 pound frame is growing into impact, but the short, foot-down-early swing has enough contact skills to play at the next level. 7.10 runner. In short, Turner has turned me into a fan - especially over the last 6 months. He has been a follow for a while, a late bloomer that is really progressing as he heads into his senior year. |

Nolan Ratcliff SS / OF / Guerin Catholic, IN / 2026+ From (2025 Top Prospect Games) - Uber-twitchy in an undersized, 5-foot-9, 165 pound frame, Ratcliff burned a 6.51 60-yard dash to begin the day before showcasing a 94 mph arm from the outfield and was up to 88 on the dirt. Offensively, the right-handed hitter uses a hovering leg lift stride before a flat path is presented with twitchy bat speed. He grabbed a pair of in-game hits, with the flat path allowing for consistent contact. I've seen him play all three positions on the dirt, with 2B the likely home there with the rangy nature of excellent foot speed. However, I actually think CF is the highest-ceiling, long-term home. Regardless, it is a middle of the diamond athlete with real twitch in the frame. |

Aiden Phillips SS / 2B / Homestead Senior High School, IN / 2026+ From (2025 Top Prospect Games) - Stood out in the uniform, premier frame at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds. Starts tall before subtle sink and aggressive move forward. Torso retracts as he turns the barrel tight and works uphill. 96+ exits and has been into the 100s. Some top-spin caused by the path but can impact the baseball. One of the top hitters on a quality Homestead club this spring. Sure-handed on the dirt with an 84 mph arm to pair, profiles best as an offensive-oriented 2B. 6.93 runner. Plenty to dream on with present skills and athletic traits to provide a higher floor. |

Dennis (DJ) Malloy SS / RHP / Valparaiso, IN / 2026+ From (3/1/25) - Malloy is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound SS/RHP and true gamer with a well-rounded profile. He’s a glove-first defender with athletic, confident actions and an 86 mph arm across the diamond. Offensively, Malloy’s short, athletic swing shows sneaky juice and feel to hit — recording a 95 mph max exit velocity and averaging 82.7 mph off the bat. On the mound, he’s a strike-thrower with a fastball up to 86 mph and a tight, feel-for spin slider that pairs well with a changeup and curveball. Malloy plays with energy and polish, and his two-way versatility makes him an interesting follow in the class. |

Brooks Carroll SS / 2B / North, IN / 2026+ From (Spring Scout Blog) - Carroll was all over the barrel in my look and has added noticeable strength to his 5-foot-8 frame coming out of the offseason. His feet and hands really work and he showed a quick release and average arm strength in I/O. Offensively, he starts tall before an early hip coil and slight hinge that gets him into a repeatable spot to time the baseball. He turns a tight barrel that produced hard contact through the middle in all four trips on this night, and I have seen him hit premier velocity in the past that further validates the hit tool. It is an actions over tools profile that gets elevated with instincts, and he is turning in better run times this spring, as well. Carroll is also one of the youngest SS on our '26 board, another trait to suggest further development. Overall, the actions, instincts, motor, and big league bloodlines are what I value most in Carroll's game and that combination establishes a safe floor moving forward. |

Ethan Glassman RHP / SS / Chesterton, IN / 2026+ From (8/10/25) - Strong, 6-foot-3, 210-pound frame with some projection left. Burned a 7.00 60-yard dash before showing the ability to drive the ball to all parts with authority in batting practice. The ability to impact the baseball derives more from barrel strength than pure twitch, with the short, upward swing proving to provide flashes of real heaviness with 100+ exits on the top end. Shows solid hands on the dirt with 3B likely the best profile considering the frame and 88 mph arm across. The arm plays from the mound, as well, with Glassman looking the part of a true two-way follow. Clean, in-line operation with full, moderate-lengthed arm action. Fastball plays with low-spin at 84-86 to set up a diving 73-75 SPL. Spun a low-70s breaking ball with shorter shape and glove side feel shown at times. In summation, the frame keeps projection on the table and he shows quality traits/actions on both sides of the ball. |

Tyler Hughes 2B / OF / Zionsville Community High School, IN / 2026+ From (2025 Top Prospect Games) - Athletic, 5-foot-11, 175 pounder. LHH with a very short, repeatable swing. Posted peak exit of 96.6 mph - surprising juice for how short the path is. Struck out at just a 14% clip this spring. The ability to put bat-to-ball is the carrying trait with this prospect and makes him one of the higher-floor hitters from this event. Defensively, he is fundamental with ability to play in a utility role, likely fits best as a 2B/LF at the next level. 6.95 runner. |

Vincent Painter SS / RHP / Brownsburg High School, IN / 2026+ From (2025 Top Prospect Games) - A true two-way prospect with his ceiling showing equally as high on the mound as it does as a middle infielder. His best tool to date is his foot speed, turning in a 6.69 60-yard dash at this event. There is twitch here with athleticism to pair, and his 6-foot-2, 175 pound frame holds room for more strength. The swing works direct with some ability to lift to the pull-side and budding impacts shown with 95+ showcase exits. His arm is a solid tool, playing 87 across the diamond. It translates well to the bump, where he sunk a mid-80s fastball (T 85.4) while showing feel for a short, 72-74 SL. There is plenty of intrigue in a well-rounded, twitchy, athletic profile and he should be able to impact the game on both sides of the ball at the next level. |

Kye Jacobs SS / OF / Clinton Prairie Elementary School, IN / 2026+ From (2025 Top Prospect Games) - A twitchy, 5-foot-9, 160 pounder that has the ability to play all over the diamond. Solid infield actions with a chance to stick at SS, with enough arm strength for the position (86 across). Gets into arm strength well and plays with feel. Can pop out to CF with 6.69 speed. Short, easy stroke from both sides - more fluid from the right-side (natural) but shows equal bat strength from both sides. High IQ with gamer traits sticking out over a 2 1/2 year follow. |

Levi Lester 2B / SS / Barr Reeve Middle/High School, IN / 2026+ From (3/19/25) - I was really impressed with my first look at '26 MIF Levi Lester (Barr-Reeve). He feels like a throwback prospect in some ways, a legion kid who has shined for the 2024 1A State Champions in his first two varsity springs, including a 1A All-State selection as a SS in his sophomore campaign. He showed well in batting practice with a short, simple, repeatable left-handed stroke that features very little movement throughout. The swing is geared towards LD contact with exit reaching 102-plus. He is a fringy runner with a broad-shouldered, 6-foot, 190 lb frame and average arm strength in total. His actions on the dirt are strong and the glove is his next-best tool behind the left-handed bat. |

Jet Dutton SS / 2B / Andrean High School, IN / 2026+ 6-foot-1ish middle infielder that played a key role in Andrean's 2025 State Title team. Listed at 185 lbs with a wiry, athletic look. Dutton is a 6.89 runner with that tool playing above average between the lines. The swing works with a downhill, direct nature and a short path in total, with hints of impact with a peak exit velocity north-of 95 mph. Dutton is above average with the glove and arm (85 mph), as well. |

Victor Villegas SS / Lake Central, IN / 2026+ From (3/1/25) - 2026 SS with advanced defensive ability and a lean, wiry 5-foot-10, 150-pound frame that should benefit from added strength. He plays with excellent tempo and body control, showing efficient feet, soft hands, and the ability to make plays on the move. His loose, clean arm (up to 86 mph) can operate from multiple slots. A 7.15 runner, Villegas swings it from the right side with a loose, athletic operation and flashes of twitchy strength, peaking at 93 mph exit velocity. There's some impact in the bat, and as he fills out, his well-rounded game should continue trending up. |

Clayton Lenz SS / 2B / Avon, IN / 2026+ From (Spring Scout Blog) - Lenz stood out throughout multiple games in the Avon lineup, collecting seven hits in thirteen trips to the plate across four games at Grand Park this past weekend. The junior has an athletic frame at 6-foot-0 165 pounds with plenty of room for more strength. The swing is simple with a quiet hand load and short stride forward, level bat path with solid barrel control. A reliable middle-infielder for the Orioles, Lenz showed controlled, athletic footwork throughout the weekend with a fringy arm. An above average runner, Lenz swiped three bags in four games. |
