2025 JUNIOR FUTURE GAMES: SOUTH CAROLINA TRACKMAN FILES (HITTING)

From Wednesday, July 24, through Sunday, July 28, Prep Baseball is hosting the next edition of its prestigious Future Games at LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, Ga., featuring the country's best uncommitted talent. And, for the second time, the Future Games is hosting not just its typical set of incoming juniors and freshmen, but also a 17U division of uncommitted Class of 2026 players who will participate in the second Senior Future Games.
On the first day of the 2025 Future Games, all players representing grad classes 2026, 2027, and 2029 will be participating in a pro-style workout in front of a fleet of Division I coaches alongside fellow prospects representing nearly every state in the nation.
Inside this piece, we'll be breaking down the top statistical 14U performers from Thursdays workout, using the data we collected from the athletic tests we conducted and the state-of-the-art technology that was on-site capturing batted-ball measurements and swing metrics.

Trackman Leaders - Hitting
PEAK EXIT VELOCITY
TrackMan is able to track every ball hit into fair territory, throughout the BP sessions. Below are the exit velocities produced by individual players.
AVERAGE EXIT VELOCITY
The average exit velocity measures a players ability to consistently produce hard contact. The average was taken based on every ball tracked by TrackMan throughout the player's BP session.
DISTANCE OFF THE BAT
TrackMan is able to measure and track the ball while in the air. For every fair ball put in play it will display the distance the hit traveled.
Peak Distance - Best of the Hitter’s Session
Average Distance - Average of each ball tracked in the Session
LAUNCH ANGLE PERCENTAGE
Based on the ball flight, TrackMan is able to identify each hit as a ground ball, line drive, or fly ball. While there are many factors as to why a hitter may approach each pitch in a certain way, the overall groupings of BP can give some insight to each hitter's approach.
