CHATTANOOGA, TN — The Chattanooga Summer ID was held at Chatt State CC on Tuesday, July 15th that featured top talent from the 2026-2030 classes. Players went through a pro-style workout with TrackMan, Blast Motion, and VALD Performance tech, while pitchers threw in a bullpen setting and were able to get data and metrics on our TrackMan unit.

Some prospects built on past showings, while others made strong first impressions.

PITCHER REPORTS

Duncan Forbes, Page Middle School (TN), 2028 | /
Positional Profile: 3B
Body: 5-9, 140-pounds. Smaller frame with room to grow. Early signs of athleticism.
Delivery: Is methodical in his movement as he gets down the mound, then explodes through release with great intent. Solid feel for his body that should improve soon.
Arm Action: RH. Shows a lively arm with very solid actions into a lower 3/4 release.
FB: T79, 77-79 mph. FB shows life armside, with solid fade into the hitting zone. Potential to be fulltime 2 seamer. T1816, 1691 average rpm.
SL: 72-73 mph. SL shows as more of a cutter at present, with tight, late movement. T2053, 1977 average rpm.
CH: 66-70 mph. CH has good speed differential off the other offerings, with some downward depth. T1427, 1386 average rpm.

Brody Ketron, Maryville (TN), 2028 | /
Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 6-0, 160-pounds. Taller frame with room to grow. Quick athletic body movements.
Delivery: Compact in his delivery with a short leg lift and solid drive down the hill.
Arm Action: RH. Creates solid deception with his arm action, with a quick compact 3/4 arm slot.
FB: T79, 74-79 mph. FB really takes off down in the zone, with developing control of the pitch. T2152, 1879 average rpm.
CB: 64-64 mph. Varied control with his CB with good traditional shape for the pitch. T2005, 2005 average rpm.
SL: 64-65 mph. T2116, 2111 average rpm.

Lucas Smith, Powell (TN), 2028 |
Positional Profile: C/RHP
Body: 6-0, 0-pounds. Physical presence with natural power.
Delivery: Works primarily out of the stretch with a staggard setup, front foot in front of the rear. Shows good feel for driving off of the backside, with compact and controlled actions.
Arm Action: RH. Bigger swing behind the body with a smooth transition into a 3/4 release. Frame and arm action will hold more velo soon.
FB: T80, 76-80 mph. Present feel for commanding his FB that can have some late armside life. T1805, 1729 average rpm.
SL: 65-70 mph. His SL shows tight spin with sharp 2-7 movement. T2032, 1903 average rpm.
CH: 69-71 mph. Shows confidence in his CH that has good depth, pitch will get much better as his arm does. T1544, 1503 average rpm.

Drew Massey, Liberty Creek (TN), 2028 |
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 6-4, 195-pounds. Tall frame with proportionate limbs.
Delivery: Stays smooth through his motion, utilising his size well to get down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Compact swing behind the body into an over the top slot. Lots more in the gas tank.
FB: T85, 79-84 mph. T2096, 1989 average rpm.
CB: 66-67 mph. T2253, 2161 average rpm.
SL: 70-71 mph. T2201, 2114 average rpm.
CH: 70-73 mph. T1142, 839 average rpm.

Andrew Monson, Blackman (TN), 2026 | /
Positional Profile: LHP/1B
Body: 6-2, 185-pounds. Big frame with raw power in his actions.
Delivery: Very quirky movement through his delivery, maintains solid balance into his leglift before really dropping into his backleg with some negative turn of the upper body.
Arm Action: LH. Extremely tricky arm action, turns deep behind his body into a lower 3/4 slingshot slot.
FB: T84, 82-83 mph. FB will get on hitters, spun very well with a tricky slot the pitch will play above its velo. T2207, 2044 average rpm.
SL: 73-75 mph. When he gets his SL out front it shows very solid movement with sharpness. Plays off the FB well. T2046, 1836 average rpm.
CH: 76-78 mph. Very solid offering with his CH, can be used against both sides. T1361, 1286 average rpm.

Myles Cox, Alcoa (TN), 2027 |
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 6-0, 182-pounds. Lean frame with proportionate limbs with relaxed but powerful body movements.
Delivery: Controlled and loose through his leg lift and drive, allowing him to generate alot of separation down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Loose and whippy arm, present armspeed with alot more in the tank.
FB: T85, 84-85 mph. His FB explodes out of the hand, gets onto hitters very quickly. T2151, 2107 average rpm.
SL: 75-76 mph. Spins his SL very well with sharp movement and feel for command. T2511, 2467 average rpm.
CH: 70-72 mph. Does a great job killing speed and spin on his CH, with good tunneling and solid fade. T1410, 1354 average rpm.

Cortland French, The Lovett School (GA), 2027 |
Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 6-1, 180-pounds. Tall frame with long limbs.
Delivery: Smooth and deliberate with his windup, with a toe tap as he clears his hips. Moves very well in his actions and down the mound.
Arm Action: LH. Shows present armspeed with a funky low 3/4 release.
FB: T, mph. * sinker, present turbo sinker. Very tricky offering with huge upside. T, average rpm.
SL: 76-78 mph. SL will be a weapon against both sides, slightly lower release point but still tunnels well. T2492, 2162 average rpm.
CH: 81-83 mph. Advanced feel for his CH, with very good life late. T2196, 1832 average rpm.
CUT: 79-80 mph.

Ryker Terry, Sequatchie County (TN), 2026 | /
Positional Profile: RHP/1B
Body: 6-3, 177-pounds. Smaller frame with long limbs.
Delivery: Deliberate in his windup with a handpump for timing, into a solid, controlled leg lift with good drives.
Arm Action: RH. Shows a feel for generating separation, solid spiral into the throwing motion with a 3/4 release.
FB: T82, 78-82 mph. He spins his FB very well, shows early life on the pitch. Much more in the tank. T2394, 2178 average rpm.
SL: 72-73 mph. Late, sharp movement on his SL that can be a swing and miss pitch. T2350, 2309 average rpm.
CH: 72-75 mph. Present feel for his CH, with a tendency to miss up with the pitch. When located has solid armside action. T1490, 1449 average rpm.

Spencer Hill, Daniel Boone (TN), 2026 | /
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 5-9, 175-pounds. Compact frame with potential to add significant muscle. Aggressive body movements.
Delivery: Carries solid pace through his windup, with a drop and drive leglift.
Arm Action: RH. Arm action can be tricky with developing armspeed, definitely has more gas in the tank.
FB: T74, 71-73 mph. Great feel for generating spin with his FB, that has solid life out of the hand. T2070, 1909 average rpm.
CB: 63-63 mph. Present feel for locating his BB in the zone, shows solid movement. T2041, 2041 average rpm.
SL: 63-65 mph. T2175, 2068 average rpm.

Kelby Barnett, Baylor (TN), 2028 | /
Positional Profile: 3B/1B
Body: 6-1, 195-pounds. Wide frame with quick, aggressive actions.
Delivery: Tall posture with his stance, hands are loud with a big timing mechanism. Works into a big leg lift with drop, then drive action.
Arm Action: RH. Shows effectively funky mechanics with a compact 3/4 release.
FB: T83, 81-83 mph. FB shows great life out of the hand with steep paths into the zone. T2069, 2013 average rpm.
SL: 69-73 mph. Very tight movement on his SL that will produce swings and misses. T2016, 1916 average rpm.
CH: 71-72 mph. CH shows solid armside life, with downward action. T1653, 1554 average rpm.

Kashis Hartwell, McCallie (TN), 2027 | /
Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 6-5, 193-pounds. Tall frame with room to grow. Long limbs which he coils and unfolds to produce more momentum in his actions.
Delivery: Simple in his delivery, uses a controlled leg lift that goes towards his rear shoulder in direction.
Arm Action: LH. Funky arm action, has a deep turn behind the body before coming through a low 3/4 release.
FB: T76, 72-76 mph. Works his FB to both sides of the plate well, with some variences in command. T2107, 1906 average rpm.
SL: 63-68 mph. SL has solid movement when located, with a. 9-3 shape. T2077, 1820 average rpm.
CH: 68-69 mph. CH works very well off of his FB, developing command of the pitch. T1501, 1368 average rpm.

Brody Hudson, Baylor (TN), 2028 | /
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-11, 145-pounds. Thinner frame with room to grow. Early signs of athleticism.
Delivery: Simple, repeatable in his delivery, with a bigger yet balanced leg kick. Great mover.
Arm Action: RH. Arm shows easy armspeed, moving very well with a low 3/4 release. Much more velo in the arm.
FB: T, mph. FB has heavy life armside, with present feel for locating gloveside. Turbo sinker potential. T, average rpm.
SL: 72-75 mph. More of a cutter at present, will keep hitters off of other offerings. T2056, 1963 average rpm.
CH: 72-73 mph. Exciting look at his CH that tunnels very well with his FB, falls off the table when located. Lefty killer. T1571, 1383 average rpm.
