Denton Hester, Captain Shreve (LA), 2026
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-3, 195-pounds. Tall and athletic.
Hit: RHH. Wide and athletic set-up, hands at shoulder height, strides closed with a modified leg kick load and stride. Takes a slightly uphill path to contact with uphill extension and a two-handed finish, back hip comes up at times, stays inside the ball, showed present bat speed and quick hands with the ability to drive the ball up the middle and to the opposite field.
Arm: RH.
Myles Jones, New Iberia Senior High School (LA), 2026
Positional Profile: OF
Body: 6-3, 170-pounds. Projectable, tall, and lean.
Hit: RHH. Narrow and tall stance, uses a leg kick load and stride. Lands with a narrow base, but stays balanced, creates natural loft with a direct path and uphill extension with a two-handed finish.
Arm: RH. OF-73 mph. Long arm path, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Long strider and can cover some ground, fields everything clean off left foot before using athletic footwork to work into crow hop.
