The Team Carolina event series has become a cornerstone of the high school baseball calendar in North Carolina. From the Fall ID, Winter ID, and Summer ID events to the highly regarded Preseason All-State showcases in February, each stop serves as a stepping stone toward premier opportunities such as the Future Games, Super Sophomore Games, and the North Carolina Top Prospect Games. These rosters consistently attract significant attention from college coaches and professional scouts, both in-person and online, as performance data, advanced analytics, and video are made available through event coverage and player profiles.
The 2025 North Carolina Top Prospect Games were held at two outstanding venues: High Point University and Finch Field in Thomasville, home of the Thomasville HiToms. The first day at High Point University featured a full offensive and defensive workout, complete with athletic testing and metric collection. On day two, the action shifted to Finch Field for a controlled scrimmages, with each participant assigned to a team and competing against live pitching. This two-day format provided scouts and coaches with a comprehensive evaluation—showcasing athleticism, skill sets, and how tools translate in game situations.
In the weeks ahead, Prep Baseball will deliver in-depth coverage of the 2025 Top Prospect Games, including statistical leaderboards, standout performances, and detailed insights from our scouting staff.
