As we continue through the summer showcase season, Prep Baseball Oregon features an Uncommitted Spotlight, where we highlight standout performers who have attended a Prep Baseball ID event this year. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.

This week, we spotlight '26 LHP/1B Jackson Ashley. The tall lefty has been seen at multiple Prep Baseball events this summer, including the Pacific Northwest Summer ID and invite-only Pacific Northwest State Games.

The Oregon City High School arm featured a FB up to 86 MPH from a tough angle, featuring a loose, whippy arm action. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including scouting notes and video from previous events.
