Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. This week, we spotlight '26 1B/RHP Conor Walsh. The two-way player out of Mountainside High School was most recently seen at the Portland Summer ID - Session II event this July.
A physical 6'4 prospect, Walsh's event was highlighted by exit velocities into the mid-90's and a FB up to 83 MPH on the mound. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including video and scouting reports from the event.

Delivery: Sets in narrow wind from 3B edge of the rubber. Hands set at letters. Head remains locked on target through short, quick leg lift and extension. Balanced front side land with leg swinging follow through. Momentum carried slightly toward 1B side post-release.
Arm Action: RH. Hands remain quiet through wind and break at the letters. Low gather into 3/4 slot release.
