2026 OUTLOOK
+ Livingston Academy heads into the 2026 season looking to build on a 12–11 campaign that saw the Wildcats reach the District Tournament in Class AAA. Under head coach Jamie Loftis, the program returns a core group of versatile contributors that should allow for flexibility throughout the spring.
Two-way pieces will be central to Livingston Academy’s success, led by Drew Goolsby and Ethan Westmoreland, both of whom return as key arms while also impacting the game offensively and defensively. Their ability to contribute in multiple roles gives the Wildcats valuable depth on both sides of the ball. In the middle of the field, Corbin Bournes provides stability and athleticism as a returning middle infielder.
On the mound, Goolsby and Westmoreland anchor the pitching staff, joined by Adam Alford, giving Livingston Academy a trio of returning pitchers with varsity experience. That group should allow the Wildcats to mix and match arms as the season progresses.
Additional depth comes from the 2027 class, highlighted by Sawyer McBride, a catcher/infielder with pitching ability who adds versatility to the roster. Incoming underclassman Brody Threet (C/UTL) is another name to watch as he pushes for opportunities early.
With multiple two-way contributors, returning pitching, and developing depth, Livingston Academy looks prepared to remain competitive in District 7-AAA and take another step forward in 2026.
