Cooper Vais RHP / SS / Arvada West, CO / 2027

One of the most athletic players we saw all year, Cooper Vais stands out at the plate, in the field—whether at shortstop or in center—and on the mound. The Texas commit may have the most impressive overall tools package we saw in the ’27 class as a true two-way prospect. A 2025 Future Gamer for Team Colorado, he’s run as low as a 6.67 and translates that speed and athleticism seamlessly to game action. He showed elite baserunning instincts and covered a ton of ground in center field this summer for Elite Baseball.
