Top Run Tool Class of 2026

Gavin De Jesus SS / OF / Waukee High School, IA / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 7 / POS: 2 OverallRank: 467 / POS: 113

De Jesus is one of my favorites from this year. Not only is he a sparkplug out of the leadoff spot for Iowa Sticks, but he’s as good as it gets defensively at shortstop. Speed and quickness define his game, and his 6.53 60 and top running speed of 20.7 mph allow him to get to balls most shortstops can’t, while also turning singles into doubles and doubles into triples. The Iowa commit has plenty of dog in him and will push to get into the lineup the moment he steps on campus.
