Trackman Files (Hitting): 2025 Hahnville Scout Day

Boutte, LA - On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the Prep Baseball Louisiana staff traveled to the Hahnville High School, to host our second annual Hahnville Scout Day, which featured prospects from Hahnville High School in the 2026-2029 classes.  Each participant went through a pro-style workout that consisted of running a laser-timed 60 yard dash using Vald Performance, defensive evaluations, and batting practice using Trackman Baseball.  Pitchers finished the day off by throwing live to hitters with Trackman Baseball to receive all of their data and metrics.  Below, we take a look at some of the top Trackman hitting metrics from Satruday's event.

Line Drive percentage: This metric is determined by the percentage of line drives hit during a given set of batted ball events.  Trackman defines a line drive as any batted ball with a launch angle between 10 and 24.9 degrees.
