Las Vegas Summer ID: Quick Hits

Trevor Henson C / OF / Centennial, NV / 2027

Arguably the biggest winner of the Las Vegas, Summer ID, Henson had himself a day on both sides of the ball with improved feel for the barrel, to go along with his advanced catch and throw from behind the plate where he earned not only the top Catcher Velocity, but the events Top Pop Time at 1.96 seconds. There’s a lot to like about this 2027 with his game already taking shape to go with his lean, developing frame that we expect to only amplify his game as he adds strength and size over the next few years. This is an incoming junior that should be on more than a few radars heading into the spring of 2026.

Caleb Piehler RHP / 3B / Foothill, NV / 2027

Another big winner at the Las Vegas Summer ID was Foothill product, Caleb Piehler. With his fastball, running up to 85.5 mph along with the secondary mix that featured a slider that tunnels well off of his fastball, a developing changeup that he threw with conviction, and a knuckle curve that he repeated his arm speed well, showing 12/6 action with easy command of each pitch. This is another player that we expect only continue seeing his game to trend with plenty of room still to fill out his lean frame as we project his velocity to mirror the physical gains expected to come over the next few years.

Ty Kincaid LHP / OF / Palo Verde, NV / 2028

The Prep Baseball Verified 6-foot-2, 177 pound incoming sophomore, who recently moved in from Kansas, is going to be a big name to follow over the next few years with his mix already beginning to flash potential plus stuff. The lefthander has easy, natural run on both this fastball and changeup that he commanded well in the zone to go with a sweeping slider that has already shown improved tightness and its action compared to the slider he was throwing at the Las Vegas Top Prospect Games a few months ago. With the 2028 Class Rankings coming out soon, you can expect to see Kincaid making a big splash. The Palo Verde product will be representing Nevada at the inaugural West Coast Super Sophomore Games at the University of Oregon next month.

Giovanni Telfer OF / LHP / Centennial, NV / 2026

Telfer has always been a player that’s not gonna "wow" you with physical stature or off the charts numbers. But, coming off of his breakout spring season with Centennial we are starting to see the added physical strength begin to amplify his game. With exceptional barrel awareness and his athleticism shining through on the defensive side of the ball as we project his game to only continue trending as it has over the past few years. Following is performance at the Las Vegas Summer ID, Telfer earned an invite to the 2025 West Coast Games.

Corbin Koch OF / RHP / Bishop Manogue, NV / 2027

A Northern Nevada product out of Bishop Manogue, Koch announce his presence early at the Las Vegas Summer ID with one of the loudest BP sessions of the day that showcased his power potential, especially to the pull side. His 85 mph Outfield Velocity lead the event, proving that his game is still trending and we expect him to have a big impact in the 2026 season for the Miners. With this performance, he earned himself an invite to represent Nevada at the 2025 West Coast Games.

Michael Credico RHP / 3B / Sierra Vista, NV / 2026

A player we saw earlier this year during the high school season for Sierra Vista, where he put together a number of quality starts, announced his presence on the mound at the Las Vegas Summer ID where he showcase a five pitch mix that he showed present feel for. His fastball ranging in the mid 80s, with more velocity projected to come as he continues to develop physically. He even tempoed, medium effort delivery proves that he does have a good idea on the mound as far as consistency in his approach and delivery of each pitch. This is another player that we expect to see his name continue to trend and gain more traction over the next year with much more to come.

Seth Bull 1B / RHP / Lone Peak, UT / 2026

Bull continue to impress at the Las Vegas Summer ID with one of the top overall days that showed off improved the actions on both sides of the ball. His obvious added physical strength and size helped him put up impressive offensive numbers that lead a handful of categories at the event. With his game continuing a trend, it leads you to believe there’s a lot more to come over the next year with his power potential transitioning into present power.

Mason Davis OF / C / Faith Lutheran, NV / 2028

Davis put his present strength on full display at the Las Vegas Summer ID with an impressive BP Session that saw him use the big part of the yard. His stockier build and present strength in lower half was used exceptionally well during the offensive portion of the event. The actions lead you to believe that there is projectability that is now starting to surface in his game as we expect him to continue to trend this fall and into next high school season.

Oliver Bergstrom 1B / RHP / Centennial, NV / 2027

Bergstrom is under the radar player that we don’t expect to be under the radar much longer with the present physical size and strength that will translate well to the next level. His game seems to be coming together at the right time for the Centennial Bulldog. Two way players becoming incredibly high value over the last year, this is one that has potential to do both at the next level if his name continues to progress as it has over the last year.

Brady Cina C / Green Valley, NV / 2027

Arguably the biggest jump made over the last six months has been Brady Cina. From the Las Vegas Preseason ID where his Top Exit of Velocity was in the mid 70s, to now where he regularly was hitting balls into the low to mid 90s while leaving the yard multiple times during a batting practice session. This 2027 will be a very interesting follow over the next few years with his game expected to continue trending with his physical development, helping advance each part of his game.
