Cy Chrisman 1B / 3B / Maple Mountain, UT / 2026If you’re looking for the prototype 1B that projects to the big league level, look no further than Cy Chrisman. Country strong type build and hand strength, at 6’4 215 lbs he carries himself and moves extremely well. Running a sub 7 60 time (6.97) at the West ProCase this Summer, Cy continued to show how athletic he is at his size which truly sets him apart. The power is the tool here, and if you throw a pitch over the plate he has the ability to take it out of any park to both fields. Regularly living in the 100-103 EV range during BP, the ball jumps off the bat and carries pull-side exceptionally well. Ability to create easy loft, if you make a mistake over the plate, you won’t see that ball again. Coming off a Spring where he led the country in HR (19), Cy has made statements all Summer as well that he is one of the top hitters in the entire Class. The Oklahoma State Cowboys have found their future middle of the order bat.

Mason Henry RHP / 1B / Pleasant Grove High, UT / 2026Mason is one of the more intriguing prospects in the entire country. At 6’8 230 lbs, his ability to move with flexibility at that size, is a real testament to the athletic ability he possesses. The sky truly is the limit on the mound for Mason, and with his ability and work ethic you can really see him reaching the upper 90s within the next few years. Featuring a true 3-pitch mix w/ a FB/CV/CH, the FB sits 89-92 T93 with heavy plane and a 12-6 CV that plays off the FB very well. Coming from a true baseball family and one of the best programs in the State at Pleasant Grove, I fully expect a dominant Senior Campaign that leads right into a strong Fall at Arizona State University. The Sun Devils have found a future dude in their weekend rotation!

Harmon Skeen SS / RHP / Desert Hills, UT / 2026Harmon has really taken off in the past 12 months both physically and on the field production. Standing at 6’5” and weighing 227 lbs July this Summer, he looks the part of an everyday CIF at the Division I level. A natural SS and will play the MIF for his HS team, Harmon has all the skills needed to play 3B or 1B and be a plus defender. The arm strength stands out up to 94 mph across the infield on multiple occasions, with an ability to generate carry and velocity. A real separator this year has been the explosion with the bat, displaying 106 EV and consistently above 100 during impressive BP rounds. Attacks the ball and looks to get extended to inflict damage, and regularly does so. A physical specimen and natural ballplayer, as well as a recent Air Force commit, Harmon possesses the skills and the physicality to play for a long time.

Cache Poulson C / American Fork, UT / 2026The undisputed best Catcher in the Class for the two years, Cache continues to hold that spot headed into 2026. Last year featured a ton of success for Mr Poulson, including helping lead American Fork to another 6A State Championship. There is no doubt a main reason the Cavemen continue to be a powerhouse in the State and in the country, is in large part due to the consistency and leadership behind the plate from Cache. He continues to show an ability to handle any pitcher in any spot with relative ease. There is a “quiet” element to the way he plays the position, and it plays at a high level. Consistently smooth receiver with exceptional timing and presentation, and an above average catch and throw skill. Throws are almost always right on the bag in the mid 1.9 range in-game and during workouts. A true gap to gap hitter with a projectable long limb frame that will continue to fill out as he matures physically, Cache will be a sound overall player for the BYU Cougars for years to come.

McCoy Johnson OF / RHP / Alta, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 5 / POS: 1
McCoy had the biggest jump up the rankings in the entire class, from unranked this Spring to the Top 5 by the end of Summer. The progress and production are legit, you would be hard pressed to find anyone who has had a better last 6 months than McCoy. He is coming off one of the top offensive Spring Seasons in the entire State in 2025 for any class (13 HR, 39 RBI, 1.518 OPS), and rolled right into the Summer with the same production. One of the best athletes in the state, a 6.6 runner and up to 92 mph from the OF, He was a top performer at this year’s Senior Futures Games and at the NPI in June at Lakepoint. The level of production on a consistent basis has been impressive and what stands out. True gap to gap swing from the left side, McCoy has an uncanny ability to consistently be on time and impact the baseball. As he continues to mature and fill out the broad shoulders, long lean frame, the power element will grow and the HR threat increase. I anticipate a monster Senior Year and an opportunity to make an impact at the United States Military Academy at West Point, his Freshman year.

Nathan Horstmann SS / 3B / Corner Canyon, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 6 / POS: 2
Nathan has been one of the most consistent players in the Class the past 2 years. A 2024 Futures, and 2025 Senior Futures Games alum has been operating at a high level his career to this point, and Summer was no different. At 6’0 192 lbs, he can really move and play the infield with confidence. A natural SS, he can also play 3B and has the arm strength to stay on the left side of the infield. He is relentless in his approach to the game and his preparation with Steady growth over the years. Nathan has displayed all the tools this Summer (6.91 60, 89 INF velo, 98 EV) and backed up his strong Junior Year that saw 5 HR, 35 RBI and a 1st-Team All State Selection. A consistent bat that has gap to gap backspin LD ability, combined with a high-level bat to ball skill that only saw 6 strikeouts this Spring. The rare mix of contact and power make Nathan a threat every time he’s in the box. A future Wolverine, Utah Valley University is getting a quality player and person.

Bode Gaggero SS / 2B / American Fork, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 7 / POS: 3
Bode has one of the purest left-handed swings that you are going to see. The hit tool is special with this kid and his production plays everywhere that he goes. He played a huge role for the reigning 6A State Champions, American Fork, in the middle of the order and the middle infield. The type of player you can count on for consistent production both offensively and defensively. He makes all the routine plays up the middle and has flashed elite defense on occasions as well. If you want production, a legitimate left-handed bat and someone to count on up the middle at a high level, Bode is that player and the Top Uncommitted player in the Class.

Ricardo Navarro SS / 3B / Crimson Cliffs, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 8 / POS: 4
Ricardo has been one of the most intriguing players in the State since he burst onto the scene last year. The physical tools are there, 91 mph across the diamond, 100+ EV loud shots off the bat during BP, and the defensive actions are smooth and natural. He checks a lot of boxes regardless of his height, because his game plays very big. The one thing holding him back a bit was the level of competition he was playing the first 3 years of HS (1A), which is played in the Fall. The development and exposure have been a challenge for Ricardo but his impressive ability has kept him relevant throughout the process. Making a huge move for his career this year, Ricardo will be transferring to local powerhouse 4A program, Crimson Cliffs. I anticipate continued growth and maturity to his game that should see him play at the Division I level, this kid can flat out play.

Miles Robinson OF / 3B / Skyridge, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 9 / POS: 2
Miles is one of the top athletes in the Class and at this position. Instincts for CF and the athleticism to play there, he has been extremely productive throughout his career. He burst on the scene at our events last Fall and the Preseason ID, leading the event in both the 60 and EV (6.68, 101.4 mph) making a case as one of the top players in the State. After a monster Junior campaign, Miles solidified himself as a top 10 player with his consistent ability to produce offensively. The speed plays on the bases as he is a threat to take 90’ at any moment, and turn singles to doubles or doubles to triples regularly. Twitchy athlete with a Division I frame and upside, the Cal State Northridge Matadors have found a future dude for their program.

Beckham Stanger RHP / 1B / Woods Cross, UT / 2026Rankings StateRank: 10 / POS: 2
Beckham is one of the fiercest competitors in the State, and you can see that when it’s his time to take the bump. The 6’5 right hander pitches with an edge that he can feed off of to really carry a team in any game at any given time. Up to 95 this Summer and regularly sitting 89-92 with a plus SL that he can feature for strikes or as an out pitch, he is tough on hitters. The consistency in the zone has really improved over the Summer which had been a hindrance in the past. Long limbs, high waisted athlete with broad shoulders and room to grow, Beckham is an exciting prospect and could be someone you see pitching for a long time. The Utah Commit could see innings as a Freshman for the Utes if he continues to dominate the zone and mature physically.
