On Saturday, August 2nd, the PB Texas staff traveled to McLennan CC in Waco, TX to host the Central Texas Uncommitted Games, an event for uncommitted 2026 & 2027 prospects.

Over 40 Players made their way to MCC and participated in a pro-style workout followed by gameplay, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Texas staff.

Today, we take a look at the scouting reports on every pitcher in attendance as well as rank the top 4 from the event.

TOP PITCHERS

1. Branden Daniel, East Central (TX), 2026
Positional Profile: SS/RHP Athletic RHP. Athletic on mound with build/frame to add strength. Solid delivery, arm speed present. Relatively fresh arm with limited mound experience. FB up to 92, will throw harder. Can pitch up/down with FB. Spin present to blended breaking ball. Developing feel for change. Love the upside on the mound. Athletic, arm speed, spin present. Will throw harder and develop feel for stuff.
Body: 6-1, 165 pounds. Good build/frame to add needed strength. Avg width to shoulders and back.
Delivery: Side step rocker with high knee lift and inward turn. Cast stride leg out and down slope. 1st base side start, slight cross step delivery. Gets over front leg with chest.
Arm Action: RH. Full circle works well. Arm speed present. HTQ slot with good finish.
FB: T92, 89-91 mph. Carry to FB present. Solid down plane with ability to pitch up in zone, getting swing and miss. Strikes with FB. Cut action occasionally. T2608, 2428 average rpm.
CB: 78-79 mph. Can spin baseball. Spiked CB. Varies action, downer slurvy type. Feel for action present, developing command of pitch. When landed, got swing and miss. T2651, 2550 average rpm.
SL: 77-80 mph. Similar to CB. T2680, 2574 average rpm.
CH: 82-82 mph. Change with fade action present. Developing deception. T861, 861 average rpm.
