TOP OUTFIELDERS
1. Myles Lewis, Summer Creek (TX), 2026
Positional Profile: 1B/OF LHH/1B/OF with good frame/build to add strength. Moves well, can firm run time in future to fringe avg. Developing defensively at 1st base, steady corner OF with decent range. Solid bat/power combo in future, love the upside to power/impact with adjustments to hit approach and swing. Nice player developing.
Body: 6-1, 201.9 pounds. Good build/frame. Width to shoulders and back. Length to lower half. Strength present. Good physical projections.
Hit: RHH. Rotational back with linear movement forward. Rolls onto side of stride foot, hindering effectiveness of lower 1/2. Work to keep stride foot into ground thru completion of swing. Firm ability to drive foot forward towards plate with linear movement. Solid posture in swing. Barrel/hands start in good position to launch, barrel tip over head created with stride creating length to swing. Work to keep barrel behind head allowing for more direct path to hit zone with barrel. Bat speed and bat strength present. 69 mph bat speed with 11g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 101 mph max exit velocity (95.2 avg.); 355-foot max batted distance. Project solid bat/power combo in future with adjustments to hit approach and swing. Contact consistency and impact will firm with changes. Like the upside to power in future.
Arm: RH. INF - 78 mph. OF - 81 mph. 1b...Arm works well throwing. Stands to throw, stay athletic when making throws. Can develop avg arm strength with long toss program. OF...Full arm circle action. High arc. Can develop some arm speed.
Defense: 1st base…coming off bag, feet work fine. When playing deep, work to play thru baseball with feet. Fields ball deep, field baseball out front. OF...Solid feet working to baseball. Solid rhythm at breakdown, fielding ball off right foot.
Athletic Testing: 7.17 runner in the 60-yard dash; Strides nicely with a good forward lean. Good runner, Avg speed. Would like to see hands relaxed.
