On Thursday, August 7th, the PB Texas staff traveled to Blinn College in Brenham, TX, to host the South Texas Uncommitted Games, an event for uncommitted 2026 & 2027 prospects.

Over 70 players made their way to Blinn and participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Texas staff.

Today, we take a look at the scouting reports on every infielder in attendance as well as rank the top 5 from the event.

TOP INFIELDERS

1. Cameron Streiff, Victoria East (TX), 2026
Positional Profile: 2B/OF RHH/INF good build to add strength. Defensively developing, actions will firm, corner infielder. Solid bat/power combo in future. Shows ability to impact baseball. Infielder who will hit and have power.
Body: 5-7, 195.6 pounds. Solid build/frame. Width to shoulders and back. Some thickness to lower with strength. Showing some strength in upper. Good physical projections.
Hit: RHH. Back foot gets stuck in rotating, finishes late. Get back foot fully turned and on time. Drive back foot forward increasing use of lower 1/2 in swing. Body lays back at contact, would like to see little more upright posture in swing. Hits into firm front side. Barrel/hands in good launch position. Long swing, barrel works out, down and around. Firm ability to take barrel on direct path to hit zone. Solid bat speed and along with bat strength present. 72.2 mph bat speed with 12g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 99 mph max exit velocity (93.5 avg.); 391-foot max batted distance. Solid bat/power combo in future with adjustments to hit approach and swing. Contact consistency and impact will firm with changes.
Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. Arm works fine, raw arm strength okay. Shows ability to throw from all angles. Develop long toss program to increase arm speed and raw arm strength.
Defense: Moves fine to baseball, dead feet fielding, work to play thru baseball with feet consistently. Fields baseball deep, work to get out in front. Will be avg defender in future.
Athletic Testing: 7.53 runner in the 60-yard dash; 23.30-inch max vertical jump. Solid runner, moves fine. Keep arm angle the same on back swing. Upright runner, work to create a slight forward tilt with head and shoulders.
