On Wednesday, July 30th, the PB Texas staff traveled to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX to host the North Texas Uncommitted Games, an event for uncomitted 2026 & 2027 prospects.

More than 60 players made their way to Tarleton and participated in a pro-style workout, followed by gameplay gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Texas staff.

Today, we take a look at the scouting reports on every outfielder in attendance as well as rank the top 7 from the event.

TOP OUTFIELDERS

1. Brice Hubbard, Frisco Memorial (TX), 2026
Positional Profile: 2B/SS RHH/OF good build to add strength. Athletic with WAA run, explosiveness present. OF with ability to play all OF spots, shows range to play CF. Solid bat/power combo in future with upside. Will continue to improve, fun player to watch develop.
Body: 5-9, 155 pounds. Lean build/frame. Avg width to shoulders and back. Needed strength will be added with future growth and maturity.
Hit: RHH. Lands in good position to hit, good use of lower 1/2 in swing. Upper torso leans back some at contact creating uphill path. Work to keep posture upright creating increased line drive contact. Barrel/hands in good launch position. Takes solid path to hit zone. Swing works uphill with torso leaning back. Pull approach, work to develop more all field approach. 72.3 mph bat speed with 19g of rotational acceleration.
Power: 94 mph max exit velocity (86.8 avg.); 327-foot max batted distance. Solid bat/power combo in future with upside. Adjustment opportunity present to firm contact consistency and line drive contact. Hitter with good lower 1/2 in swing and bat speed.
Arm: RH. OF - 87 mph. Arm works well. Arm speed is present. Throws on a line with some carry. Full circle arm action works through side arm slot. Recommend throwing program to work on arm action.
Defense: Works fine to ball. Fields ball off left foot well. Fine footwork working through ball.
Athletic Testing: 6.56 runner in the 60-yard dash; 26.80-inch max vertical jump. Form has quick movements. Quiet and efficient. Extremely good runner. Real stolen base threat. Plus speed.
