North Texas Uncommitted Games: Pitcher Analysis

On Wednesday, July 30th, the PB Texas staff traveled to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX to host the North Texas Uncommitted Games, an event for uncomitted 2026 & 2027 prospects.
More than 60 players made their way to Tarleton and participated in a pro-style workout, followed by gameplay gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Texas staff.

Today, we take a look at the scouting reports on every pitcher in attendance as well as rank the top 4 from the event.
TOP PITCHERS
1. Landon Carlisle, Weatherford (TX), 2026
Positional Profile: RHP/SS RHP with great build/frame to add strength. Solid delivery and arm action, look for velocity to increase with added strength and physical maturity. Strike thrower. FB effective up/down, short late movement down. Slider quality pitch with late action. DNS 3rd pitch. Impressive on mound. Upside.
Body: 6-2, 175 pounds. Great build/frame to add strength. Will have ideal pitchers body as he adds strength and matures.
Delivery: Side step rocker with high knee lift, loads well into back leg with inward turn of hip and shoulder. Slight cross step delivery, gets over front side, solid finish.
Arm Action: RH. Full circle, works well with H 3/4 slot, solid finish. Shows arm speed is present and developing.
FB: T88, 86-87 mph. Shows ability to pitch up/down with FB. Solid down plane down in zone, shows some carry up. Slight, late tail action down. Solid command of FB. T2158, 2001 average rpm.
SL: 79-81 mph. Quality action, short/late break, landed. Was able to get multiple swing and miss with slider. T2193, 2105 average rpm.
