Bret Schwartz
Prep Baseball Oklahoma Scouting Director

Following a long summer evaluating prospects through tournaments, special state events here in the Sooner State, and our own events, we take an updated look at the 2027 class rankings. This class also sees a lot of movement in this update after we got a closer look at some of the top uncommitted prospects competing against the nation's best at the Future Games.

Full 200 player rankings can be found HERE.

We have 2 events on the schedule for this fall with still plenty of spots available. Click HERE for more event information and secure your spot today.

Jaxon Adcock SS / RHP / Cameron, OK / 2027

Adcock came away as one of the true winners over the course of the summer and more specifically representing Team Oklahoma at the Future Games. He showed advanced actions on the infield while showing the ability to defend at a high level on the left side. Offensively, the long-levered right handed hitter can use the entire field with the anticipation of the hit tool producing extra base hits as the 6’4” frame continues to fill out. Highly projectable, Adcock also showed the ability to be a difference maker on the mound flashing an upper 80s fastball and makings of a swing and miss slider with -2” to -3” IVB and up to -7.3” HM. A highly projectable prospect, with a strong current skillset, continues to rise while showing the ability to be a difference maker at the next level.

Beau Davis RHP / 3B / Carl Albert, OK / 2027

Davis rises in our ranks following a strong summer that has shown his continued development on the mound. The physical right hander stands at 6’3” and 200 pounds with a power mix to match the imposing frame. We saw the fastball comfortably work into the low 90s with 16.5” to 18.8” of IVB. The secondary offerings have also taken a step forward as he showed the ability to land early strikes as well as get swing and miss from LHH with the changeup. The developing 3-pitch mix continues to take steps forward as well and make Davis a name to know with his best baseball still in front of him.

Brady Holliday SS / 2B / Stillwater, OK / 2027

Holliday is coming off a big summer that showcased his advanced skillset and IQ that goes far beyond the box score. Working in the middle of the diamond, the Stillwater infielder showed the ability to catch it at a high level, taking control of the field, and look to the next play with a back-pick with high high baseball IQ. Offensively, the switch hitter consistently worked deep into counts, often times picking up 2-strike hits, while also picking his moments in leverage counts to drive balls into gaps. Undersized, Holliday packs a punch with a loud skillset and he continues to rise in our ranks with advanced feel and actions on the diamond.

Cole Bray RHP / SS / Skiatook, OK / 2027

Bray finishes up the summer circuit continuing to add polish and pitchability to a strong current mix. Comfortably working into the upper 80s and has shown over 20” of Horizontal Movement working at the bottom of the zone. As for secondary offerings, the changeup showed flashes of being a plus pitch this summer due to its limited IVB and advanced HM that pairs well with the fastball. Bray continues to rise following a strong spring and summer and continues to develop on the mound.

Wyatt Pendergraph RHP / 3B / Blanchard, OK / 2027

Pendergraph debuts in our ranks following a strong spring for State Champion Blanchard and an appearance for Team Oklahoma at the Future Games. The physical right hander has shown a 3-pitch mix with the ability to attack hitters from both sides of the plate. The fastball already flashes advanced metrics, up to 23” IVB, and works into the upper 80s. The competitiveness from Pendergraph jumps with the opportunity to watch him compete, showing little to no emotion, regardless of the situation or the adversity that he faces. His best baseball still in front of him, he is an exciting prospect continuing to develop on the bump.

Miles Stanley SS / 2B / Mount St. Mary, OK / 2027

Stanley is coming off a big summer after a strong spring for Mount St. Mary. The sure-handed middle infielder continues to develop in the middle of the field while showing the ability to defend on the left side. A solid all-around player, the gap to gap right handed hitter has seen a disciplined approach continue to develop with singles turning into extra base hits with work away from the yard showing up in the box. Stanley rises in our ranks as he continues to trend upward in all areas of his game.

Preston Klose 1B / RHP / Yukon, OK / 2027

Klose debuts in our ranks as an exciting, high upside prospect, with a work horse frame to dream on at 6’5” and 223 pounds. The developing right hander showed a fastball into the upper 80s and pairs well with a swing and miss slider with strong metrics. The slider works north of 2300 RPMs on average, with minimal IVB and close to -10” of Horizontal Movement, making it difficult for hitters to pick up out of hand. Klose is a name to know as an exciting prospect with big upside out of Yukon.

Grady Glidden LHP / 1B / Moore, OK / 2027

Glidden is an exciting left hander coming off a summer that included a strong showing at the Oklahoma State Games. A still developing frame, the southpaw stands at 6’2” and 170 pounds, the Moore product works the fastball into the upper 80s and commands to both sides of the plate. He has shown the ability to get out both right handed and left handed hitters, mixing in two distinct breaking balls and a changeup, Glidden is a name to know from the left side in the 2027 class.

Dagan Grizzle 1B / RHP / Sallisaw, OK / 2027

Grizzle continues to show exciting upside as a physically imposing prospect at 6’4” and 250 pounds. Grizzle’s fastball works into the mid 80s and flashes secondary offerings that could all show to be plus pitches with strong underlying metrics in the future. The fastball shows armside run and sink with as much as 19.8” of Horizontal Movement. The secondary pitches, a slider and changeup, show the makings of a difference maker on the mound as the Sallisaw product continues to develop. The slider shows consistent swing and miss upside with minimal IVB and up to -8.6” HM pairing it well with the fastball. The changeup also shows advanced feel with an average of 3.5” IVB and 20.4” HM that give him a weapon against left handed hitters as well. A physical, workhorse frame, Grizzle showed strong development through the summer and is a name to know in the 2027 class.
