THE TOP 10
After a strong summer capped by several standout performances at this year’s Prep Baseball Future Games, our top 10 features plenty of movement — including a new No. 1 and two fresh faces making their debut in the group.
As mentioned, this update brings a new name to the top of our list: RHP Ryan Dobratz (Liberty-Wentzville). At a towering 6-foot-4, 222 pounds, Dobratz brings an imposing presence on the mound with as much raw power and upside as anyone in the class. At this summer’s Future Games, he didn’t throw a fastball below 90 mph across his two innings of work, topping out at 92.9 mph with spin rates over 2,500 RPM. Off that fastball, he spins a firm, tight slider and kills spin effectively on a low-80s changeup. Dobratz is quickly establishing himself as one of the fastest-rising arms in the region — if not the country.

Behind him, INF Brady Yates (Glendale) slides into the No. 2 spot, followed by fellow Springfield-area standout OF Adam McKnight (Nixa) at No. 3, with INF/RHP Cole Chambers (St. Louis University) taking the fourth spot.
The fifth spot features the first newcomer to the top 10 after a breakout performance at this summer’s Future Games: OF Rylan Sutton (Ozark). Sutton’s bat was on full display in Emerson, GA, where he followed up a loud workout day by hitting well over .500 for the week. His highlight came in a matchup against Team Illinois, where he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, a home run, and four RBIs. Sutton’s physical left-handed bat has true middle-of-the-order impact potential and makes him a must-follow prospect in this class moving forward.

LHP Chase Stieferman (Capital City; Missouri) takes the No. 6 spot, followed by a pair of backstops on opposite sides of the state: Carson Leuthauser (Eureka) at No. 7 and Andrew Maultsby (Staley) at No. 8.
Another Springfield-area product, RHP/INF Cameron Miller (Nixa), lands at No. 9, followed by another newcomer in RHP Carter Martin (Warrenton) at No. 10. Martin continues to solidify himself as one of the top arms in Missouri’s junior class, running his fastball up to 89 mph as a member of Team Missouri in Georgia this summer. His true separator, however, is a 3,000+ RPM swing-and-miss slider with over 18 inches of horizontal movement — a true that makes him a must-know name moving forward.

RISERS AND NEWCOMERS
This rankings update features plenty of movement, as we expand our list to 215 players with more than 30 new names joining the fold. Keep reading to check out some of the notable risers and newcomers in Missouri’s 2027 class.
One of the fastest-rising arms in the state, LHP Jase Wilkinson (Miller) put together a standout summer campaign with the US Nationals, showing gains in both velocity and stuff. The southpaw frequently worked into the low-90s across multiple looks, mixing a low-70s slider and killing spin on an upper-70s to low-80s changeup. Wilkinson climbs 16 spots in this update.

OF Landon Klee (Lebanon) makes one of the biggest jumps in this update, rising more than 20 spots to No. 18. Long and lean at 6-foot-2, 172 pounds, Klee brings plenty of upside in a highly projectable frame. His smooth, athletic left-handed swing consistently produces gap-to-gap power with more to come as he continues to add strength. Coming off a strong showing at the Future Games, Klee has firmly established himself as a name to know in this class.

A pair of southern Missouri standouts also trend upward: RHP/INF Jagger Wilson (Seneca; Oklahoma) and INF Beckett York (Lebanon; Missouri). The recent Oklahoma and Missouri commits rise 48 and 12 spots, respectively, after strong summers.
The first newcomer to the rankings, INF/RHP Fields Floersch (Blue Springs), was a big winner at the Heart of America Summer ID in Fort Scott, KS. An athletic two-way prospect, Floersch posted a 92 mph exit velocity and an 88 mph infield arm, though he stood out most on the mound. There, the right-hander showcased a four-pitch mix for strikes, highlighted by a high-spin fastball up to 88 mph. He debuts at No. 49.

C/OF Skyler Anderson (Macon), long known as a skilled player, rises eight spots in this update thanks to added strength and athleticism. At the US Nationals & Affiliates Scout Day, Anderson impressed with a 77 mph arm and 1.89 pop time from the chute, paired with a 6.95 60 and a 99.1 mph exit velocity.
Right behind him at No. 77 is newcomer RHP/1B Hunter Kane (St. Michael the Archangel). Kane showed off mid-90s exit velocities at the Building Champions Scout Day, but his future appears brightest on the mound. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound right-hander worked in the mid-80s with his fastball and paired it with a sinker, slider, and changeup mix.

Two backstops break into the top 100 after strong summers: Krayton House (Mid-Buchanan) and Chase Dillinger (Van Buren). House flashed an intriguing blend of speed and power at the MOKAN Summer ID, posting a 98.7 mph exit velocity with a 6.70 60. Dillinger stood out at the Missouri State Games with a low-90s exit velocity at the plate and a low-to-mid-80s fastball on the mound.
Krayton House
Another new name, C Logan Kroeger (Palmyra), emerged as a standout at the US Nationals & Affiliates Scout Day with a powerful right-handed stroke that produced triple-digit exit velocities. He debuts at No. 103. Fellow US Nationals teammate OF Jonathan Wolosick (St. John Vianney) follows closely behind at No. 107. The projectable 6-foot-2, 185-pound lefty flashes middle-of-the-order potential, producing exit velocities up to 95 mph in his Prep Baseball debut earlier this summer.

Additional noteable newcomers inside the top 150 include: LHP/OF Hudson Lee (Liberty), OF Connor Kirkpatrick (Lee’s Summit), OF Briston Wood (Lee’s Summit North), INF Cooper Kenney (Staley), LHP/OF Zaidyn Woodward (Benton), and INF/OF Reid Holliday (Hannibal).
