Colorado Uncommitted Spotlight: 2026 Pitchers

Prep Baseball Colorado Staff

With the release of the latest update to our state rankings for the 2026 class, it’s a great time to take a closer look at some of the top remaining uncommitted prospects in the class. With plenty of talented players still available, our staff will dive in and highlight the top five uncommitted prospects from each position group. We’ll kick this series off by taking a look at the five top ranked uncommitted arms, with a short breakdown of each prospect.

Ryan Prater LHP / OF / Pine Creek High School, CO / 2026

Prater is a crafty left-hander who attacks hitters with a quality fastball-slider combo. This summer, Prater sat at 86-87 mph with the fastball, but touched 90 on occasion (20+ IVB). The slider sat in the mid 70s, with 2300+ rpm of spin.

Kieran Delaney RHP / SS / colorado academy, CO / 2026

Delaney is a physical righty who utilizes a three-pitch arsenal to attack hitters. His fastball typically sits in the low 90s, and he works off of it with a sharp slider that he's shown an excellent feel for, as well as a low 80s splitter.

Bryce Love RHP / OF / Peyton, CO / 2026

Love is a strong right-hander with an excellent frame standing at 6'3 214 lbs. The fastball was up to 88 mph when we saw him at the Colorado State Games this summer, but has been gunned at up to 90 mph previously.

Titus Dokes RHP / OF / East High School, CO / 2026

Dokes is one of the highest-ceiling arms in the class, with the potential to reach another level with some added strength in the offseason. Presently, the fastball sits in the upper 80s, occasionally touching 90 mph. He utilizes three offspeed offerings, a changeup, curveball, and hard slider. He creates excellent spin as well, with spin rates over 2500 rpm on his fastball, curveball and slider.

Tyler Kephart C / RHP / Fossil Ridge, CO / 2026

Kephart profiles as a prospect with legitimate two-way potential at the next level, with great numbers as both a catcher and pitcher. On the mound, we've had him up to 91.6 mph with his fastball. Kephart rounds out a four-pitch mix with a changeup, a high-spin curveball, and a hard slider.
