With the release of the latest update to our state rankings for the 2026 class, it’s a great time to take a closer look at some of the top remaining uncommitted prospects in the class. With plenty of talented players still available, our staff will dive in and highlight the top five uncommitted prospects from each position group. This time, we'll take a look at the five top ranked uncommitted first basemen, with a short breakdown of each prospect.

Bryce Fullen 1B / LHP / Lansing, KS / 2026Rankings StateRank: 53 / POS: 3
Fullen is a powerful athlete, and one of the best power bats from the left side in this class. In BP, we've had him in triple digits, topping out with an EV of 101.1. mph while averaging an impressive 95.1 mph. Defensively, he has a solid arm and plenty of athleticism to handle first baseman duties. |

Nic Sabers 1B / LHP / St .Thomas Aquinas, KS / 2026Rankings StateRank: 112 / POS: 5
Sabers is high-upside guy that is looking to have a big senior year after adding some strength this offseason. He has a nice feel for the barrel, averaging just a tick under 90 mph in BP while topping out at 94.4 mph. |

Coleman Harger 1B / RHP / Blue Valley Southwest, KS / 2026Rankings StateRank: 117 / POS: 6
Harger is a long right-hander with some solid tools. At 6'3 185 lbs, Harger uses his frame well to create some present power at the plate. |

Nathan Troutner 1B / Blue Valley Northwest, KS / 2026Rankings StateRank: 135 / POS: 7
Troutner is one of the best athletes at first base in the state, with an excellent build at 6'6 230 lbs which give him a high ceiling. At the plate there is plenty of present power, with exit velocities in the upper 90s when we last saw him in BP. He also clocked a sub-7.00 60 time, showcasing his athleticism. |

Thomas Dent 1B / RHP / Blue Valley North, KS / 2026Rankings StateRank: 136 / POS: 8
Dent is a high-ceiling athlete with an opportunity to see some more development as he adds some more strength to his 6'3 frame. Presently, he has produced exit velocities in the mid 90s. Defensively, he moves well laterally, and has strong, reliable hands. |
