Inside the Top 50

Wesley Moering, SS/CF, North Paulding (17th to 7th)

Brennan Neal, SS/RHP, Brookstone (42nd to 8th)

Evan Brand, 2B/RHP, Kell (31st to 16th)
It was probably double-digit looks at Brand throughout 2025 from our staff and I don't think we saw a bad look once. The 2025 Future Gamer offers as much positional value as you’ll find in the class with an above-average glove across the infield and I wouldn't be shocked to see him handle corner OF either.  The switch-hitter is a mirror image from both sides with advanced bat-to-ball skills in a line-drive approach, and started to show significant raw pop this summer with multiple 100+ EV batted-balls both in-game and BP. There’s real pitchability for Brand as well with excellent command of the full mix and ability to create soft contact consistently. Has been up to 90 this summer and has been on a climb for two years now, pointing to even more to come. It’s as high of a floor as you’ll see in the state with a substantial ceiling to see as well and easy to justify this top-20 ranking.

Maceo White, SS, Maynard Jackson (62nd to 17th)
Is there a better athlete in Georgia's 2027 class than Maceo White? I think you’ll be hard-pressed to find them. A 6.2 runner with 5% body fat, White boasts an abundance of twitch at 6-foot-1, 166-pounds with plenty of projection remaining. Tools and instincts to stick at shortstop long-term with plenty of range and present above-average arm strength to make every throw. Bat speed and innate ability to rotate go hand-and-hand for White and really started to find significant impact in the barrel this summer with even more as he continues to get stronger. It’s a bullish comp but there’s a lot of similarities between White and recent Tampa Bay Rays first-rounder Daniel Pierce, and that bodes extremely well for the Maynard Jackson standout.

Daniel Biondo, C/3B, Denmark (45th to 24th)
All Biondo has done over the last year plus is just flat out hit. The Denmark C was one of the best bats in 6A all spring long, finishing north of .450 as a sophomore and carried it over into a further breakout summer. Biondo displays excellent pitch recognition in a gap-to-gap approach while showing a strong aptitude to work backside for consistent extra-base hits. Positional value is strong with ability to offer an above-average glove both at the hot corner and behind the plate where his soft hands really stand at both positions. It’s the type of plug-and-play profile that can help any ballclub and it’s only getting better, stock way up for Biondo.

Nate Curcio, SS/RHP, Etowah (50th to 32nd)

Cortland French, LHP, Lovett (Top 350 to 39th)

Bradley Lenz, RHP, Veterans (96th to 40th)

Will Downing, RHP, McIntosh (Top 350 to 42nd)

2026 Spring Breakouts

Nate Curcio, SS/RHP, Etowah
Its hard not to like the twitchy athlete and 2 way upside from Curcio. He is the next guy up for one of the top teams in the country. He is going to be a key contributor on the mound with the upper 80’s fastball that is going soon be in the low 90’s with the wipeout slider. He is really coming into his own at the dish, and we think this is where we could really see him breakout in the spring of 2026. There is sneaky pop from the easy bat speed that he can generate.

Carson Reeves, OF, Buford
We have been a fan of Reeves for the last couple of years and he is continuing to fill out the lean, wiry frame. There is plus speed already there and with the feel for the barrel there is a lot more on the way for the incoming junior at Buford. He is the next guy up in the Wolves outfield. The tools are already there and now he is just going to get better with more experience and at bats against quality competition.

Koa Peters, UTL, Lambert
Peters was a big winner this spring on the mound and at the plate for the Longhorns. The athletic, 6-foot-3 frame standouts and with added strength he is going to become a power threat at the dish. There is real potential on the mound as well. He was a bit of a late bloomer with the size, and now as he continues to fill out and learn to move the frame he is going to level up his game across the board. Keep an eye on Peters to lead the Longhorns this spring in his junior campaign.

Jack Johnson, RHP/OF, Harrison
This could be considered Johnson's "comeback year" after sitting out last season with his transfew from Mt. Paran. He had a strong freshman year there and will look to carry the momentum from the recent committment to Troy into the 2026 high school season. Johnson is just one of those players that you know what you are getting from him time in and time out. He will be upper 80's on the mound with low 90's on the horizon, he feels up the zone and has feel for his off speed pitches. He has been on of the more consistent guys in the state over the last year or 2. And not to mention he runs a 6.64 with some easy juice at the dish. With the addition of Johnson the Hoyas are going to be a team to beat in 2026.

Kyle Montgomery, C/3B, Lassiter
In multiple looks during the spring season for Lassiter, Montgomery did nothing but it. Fast forward to the summer and he is still hitting on one of the top teams in the country. No matter the arm Montgomery always seemed to find a way to get it done. He has a mature approach at the dish and will show the power off when he gets his pitch to hit early in the count. He is a workhouse defensively, no matter if he is behind the plate or over at 3B. He earned at spot on the 2025 Future Games squad and is solidifying himself as a top left handed bat in the state.
