Oregon Uncommitted Spotlight - '26 INF Nathan Kim

As we wrap up the summer showcase season, Prep Baseball Oregon features an Uncommitted Spotlight, where we highlight standout performers who have attended a Prep Baseball ID event this year. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.
This week, we spotlight '26 INF Nathan Kim. The senior out of Westview High School was seen at multiple events this summer, first at the Portland Summer ID - Session II and later at PNW State Games.
A 6'1 athlete with some speed and athleticism, Kim's showcases were highlighted by a 6.96 60-yard dash time and low-90's exit velocities. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including scouting reports and video from the events.

Some bat lag with a flatter barrel path through the zone. Accelerates through contact with a strong two-hand and longer one-hand finish both shown. 63.3 mph bat speed with 10 G's of rotational acceleration.
