Colorado Uncommitted Spotlight: 2026 Outfielders

Prep Baseball Colorado Staff

With the release of the latest update to our state rankings for the 2026 class, it’s a great time to take a closer look at some of the top remaining uncommitted prospects in the class. With plenty of talented players still available, our staff will dive in and highlight the top five uncommitted prospects from each position group. We’ll kick this series off by taking a look at the five top ranked uncommitted outfielders, with a short breakdown of each prospect.

Silas Meuli OF / 1B / Legend High School, CO / 2026

Meuli is an excellent athlete with an impressive combination of strength and speed. When we saw him a little over a year ago, his exit velocity already topped at 98.3 mph, and he was clocking 60 times as quick a 6.63. Premium left-handed bat with twitch and baseball IQ.

Jaxon Ross OF / SS / Discovery Canyon, CO / 2026

Ross is another athletic prospect who has a solid metric profile across the board. We've got his exit velocity in the mid 90s, with a 60 time as low as 6.74. Defensively, he's got plenty of athleticism to make the necessary plays in the outfield.

Tyce Smith OF / SS / Cherry Creek, CO / 2026

Smith, a 2024 Future Games alum, is a strong, physical outfield prospect. He's got some clear present power at the plate, increased bat speed, as well as great arm strength, tossing it in from the outfield at 89 mph.

Bricen Moore 1B / OF / Douglas County High School, CO / 2026

Moore is one of the more polished hitters in the class, with excellent swing mechanics from the left side. He splits time at first base and the outfield, but has enough athleticism that he projects to be able to find a spot in the corner outfield at the next level. Coming off of a big spring in 2025, Moore is worth a close follow and look.

Jacob Olson OF / 1B / Regis Jesuit, CO / 2026

Olson has put together an impressive stretch of baseball, parlaying a strong finish to the spring season into a strong performance this summer. The rising senior has the athleticism to stick in the outfield at the next level, and has some present power at the plate with a low K rate.
