Oklahoma Uncommitted Spotlight: 2026 Outfielders

Prep Baseball Oklahoma Staff

With the release of the latest update to our state rankings for the 2026 class, it’s a great time to take a closer look at some of the top remaining uncommitted prospects in the class. With plenty of talented players still available, our staff will dive in and highlight the top five uncommitted prospects from each position group. This time, we'll take a look at the five top ranked uncommitted outfielders, with a short breakdown of each prospect.

Kaleb Thiessen OF / C / Calumet, OK / 2026

The state's top uncommitted outfielder is also a rare switch-hitter with true ability to do damage from both sides of the plate. Thiessen also posseses a nice arm in the outfield, being clocked at 87 mph at the Upperclass Games this summer. Thiessen is one of the leaders of a very strong Calumet squad that is looking to break through for a state title this year.

Ritson Meyer OF / OF / Elgin, OK / 2026

Our second-consecutive 2024 Futures Games alum, Meyer is one of the many talented prospects to come out of Elgin in recent years. Meyer is one of the top power bats in the class, and looks to help lead the Owls to another run in the state tournament this spring.

Avery Lonberg OF / 3B / Edmond North, OK / 2026

Lonberg profiles as high-upside guy, that should continue to see some leaps in his development as he continues to add strength. The LHH already features a quality arm, putting down velocities in the upper 80s throwing it in from the outfield in our last look at him. Lonberg will be a big piece of the Edmond North lineup this spring as the Huskies try to build on a hot finish to last season.

Cayden Duvall OF / RHP / Tonkawa, OK / 2026

Duvall stormed onto the scene this summer with strong showings at a couple of events. Duvall is one of the most physically gifted prospects in the class, and is one of the highest upside guys in the state. A metric monster, putting down exit velos as high as 104 while clocking a 6.8 in the 60, as Duvall continues to polish his game, he has a chance to find himself in the middle of lineups at the next level.

Brysen Donnell OF / RHP / Sapulpa, OK / 2026

Donnell was a mainstay at the top of the lineup last spring for a tough Sapulpa squad that ended their season as the runner-ups of the Stillwater regional. Donnell now looks to help lead a very strong returning group for the Chieftains as they hope to make a run in 6A this spring.
