Summer Update Missouri Uncommitted Spotlight: 2027 Outfielders

With the release of the latest update to our state rankings for the 2027 class, it’s a great time to take a closer look at some of the top uncommitted prospects in the class. Only a few months have passed since recruiting restrictions were lifted on the 2027s as they began their junior years, so there are numerous big names left on the board. Over the next few days, our staff will highlight five of the top prospects at each position, with a short breakdown of each athlete. First, we'll look at the state's top five uncommitted outfielders in the class.

Adam McKnight OF / Nixa, MO / 2027McKnight is a high level multisport athlete with plenty of upside on the baseball side as an outfielder at the next level. |

Warren Robertson OF / RHP / Rockhurst, MO / 2027Robertson is a projectable athlete with an impressive 6'3 frame, but the present tools are easily evident both as a pitcher and outfielder. At the plate, we've had Robertson put up eye-catching exit velocities, including a max of 103.9. |

Landon Klee OF / SS / Lebanon, MO / 2027Rankings StateRank: 18 / POS: 4
Klee has an impressive blend of speed and strength, putting up good numbers across the board. Defensisvely, he's got plenty of range in the outfield, thanks in large part to his sub 7.00 speed. He also has great arm strength, tossing it in from the outfield at 91 mph. At the plate there is some present power, with EVs as high as 97.4 mph. |

Michael Wolff OF / 3B / Fort Zumwalt West, MO / 2027Rankings StateRank: 21 / POS: 5
Wolff is an athletic outfield prospect, and another guy with some potential to be a two-way guy at the next level. At the plate, we've seen him reach exit velocities in the mid 90s. Defensively, he's got great speed in the outfield, and plenty of arm strength, topping out at 87 mph. |

Corde Gage OF / SS / Christian Brothers College, MO / 2027Rankings StateRank: 30 / POS: 7
Gage is a two-sport athlete, also starring in multiple roles for the CBC football team. That athleticism is evident on the diamond as well, where his speed translates into great range in the outfield to go with excellent arm strength. At the plate, he just missed out on triple digit exit velocity, topping out at 99.5 mph. |
