Brayden McAllister RHP / OF / Lakewood High School, WA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 36 / POS: 14
The 6'2 prospect out of Lakewood impressed mightily in multiple summer looks, earning one of the highest debut ranks of any player in the Washington 2027 class. First seen at the Seattle Summer ID - Session III and later at PNW State Games, the arm tool stood out in a major way. McAllister ran his fastball up to 87.7 MPH from a clean, tighter arm action and a high 3/4 slot release, peppering the zone to both sides of the plate. The righty pairs the FB with an upper-70's CH as his best secondary, with a low-70's SL mixed in as well. McAllister has plenty of room to fill in the 167 pound frame and the lower spin rates on all his offerings suggest even more velocity could come with added development and strength. The versatile athlete also showcased solid BP rounds, peaking with a 94.3 MPH exit velocity and averaging 89.2 MPH. McAllister is an arm to know in the Washington '27 class.

Seika Saito SS / RHP / Issaquah, WA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 46 / POS: 11
One of the better contact bats in the class, Saito appeared on our radar after a great sophomore campaign for Issaquah this spring. The middle infielder is a true gamer type with the ability to hit to all fields and great feel for the barrel from the left side. The sophomore campaign was highlighted by a .319 average and just 2 strikeouts across 78 plate appearances. Later seen at the Washington A's Scout Day, Saito showed similar ability to find the sweet spot with a connected, strong LH stroke. The compact-framed player also is a 7.2 runner with throws up to 81 MPH across the diamond, an ideal profile for a second baseman moving forward. Pairing the offensive prowess with an ability to hop on the mound with a four pitch mix and a low-80's FB as well, and it is easy to see Saiko as a contributor through the next several seasons of high school baseball.

Jacoby Yousey 1B / LHP / Cashmere High School, WA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 51 / POS: 2
Fresh off of moving from England to the PNW, Yousey's game was on display at the Eugene Summer ID this July. The Cashmere High School two-way player showed tremendous upside from the left side of the dish, with an athletic build and crisp, consistent BP rounds. Yousey showcased a longer, lofted swing path, resulting in exit velocities up to 98.6 MPH and averaging 89.9 MPH. The long-levered frame plays larger than his listed 6'0 height and moves well, posting a 7.16 60-yard dash time. On the mound, the lefty features a longer, sweeping arm action into a 3/4 slot release, with balance and repeatability in the actions. Yousey ran the FB into the low-80's with a slower CH/CB offspeed combination. Yousey continued to impress at the PNW State Games in Vancouver, and should be a staple as a productive two-way talent moving forward.

Luke Bishop 3B / OF / O'Dea, WA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 60 / POS: 4
Another physical left-handed bat seen this summer, Bishop delivered some of the louder BP rounds at Bannerwood this July. The 6'0, 195 pound player got to his power to the pull side and up the middle with some bat speed present. Bishop posted a peak exit velocity of 99.1 MPH and averaged 90.3 MPH, driving balls up to 363 feet. Bishop also ran a 7.18 60-time with developing arm strength defensively. The righty glove looks to profile best at 3B or in a corner OF spot, depending on how the frame matures and how the defense continues to progress. Look to Bishop as a breakout candidate heading into 2026.

Drew Maguire OF / Roosevelt, WA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 73 / POS: 16
The ultra-physical 6'5 prospect stood out with his ability to move well for his size and his power from the right side of the plate. Maguire works from the ground up with a flatter barrel path, staying in the zone and on plane well to punish balls to the pull side and middle of the field. Peaked with a 101.1 MPH exit velocity, averaging 89.4 MPH. Developing arm strength in the outfield, but covers ground easily with long strides. Maguire also stood out with his footspeed given his size, posting 6.84 60-yard dash time and profiling well as a corner OF long-term. Exciting metrics and physical ability earned the Roosevelt High School prospect a spot in the latest ranks.

Broderick Rice C / 3B / A G West Black Hills High School, WA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 78 / POS: 12
The medium-framed backstop stood out with his power from the right side of the dish and catch-and-throw ability, first seen at the Seattle Summer ID - Session II and later at the PNW Summer Review. Offensively, Rice carries a heavier barrel through the zone, with a quiet, steady coil into a heavy barrel out front. The ball jumped off his bat when on time, driving balls up to 381 feet with a peak exit velocity of 100.8 MPH. Defensively, Rice works from a higher setup with an offset lower half to deliver strikes on the bag, posting a best pop time of 1.94 seconds. Rice will be an intriguing follow moving forward for college recruiters with his louder collection of tools.
