RISERS

Sebastian Castillo | SS | Byron Nelson HS
#10 ➝ #3

Sebastian moves to 3rd in the rankings. Tools with ability to play the game. Everytime I have see him play he does something to help his team. Defensively, has actions, makes plays on the move making it look easy. He rakes showing power. Other players in TX may have perceived higher ceilings, but, if were picking teams to play a game right now. He goes 1st. - Max Semler

Hank Rippy | SS | Austin Anderson HS
#47 ➝ #9

Rippy moves into the top 10 with a loose, left-handed stroke that produced exit velocities over 104mph in BP this Summer, showing big power potential. The wiry-athletic shortstop covers the plate with natural barrel accuracy and a relaxed approach. There’s real impact now with plenty of strength still to come. Defensively, Rippy flashes soft hands, skilled glovework, and a strong arm with carry. A charging backhand play on a slow roller highlighted his advanced glove-to-hand quickness and completes the profile of one of the biggest risers in the class.  - Shooter Hunt

Selvin Garrett | SS | Buda Johnson HS | Texas Commit
Rank #23 ➝ #10

Garrett cements himself as a top-10 talent after breaking out at the Future Games, where he put together a massive week at the plate—including a home run—and stood out defensively. Athletic, compact, and projectable, he flashes real bat speed that points to a high offensive ceiling. The swing continues to sharpen, and as his rhythm and timing sync up, the upside at the plate becomes even more dangerous. Defensively, Garrett shows smooth lateral range, soft hands, and a strong arm across the diamond, giving him the tools to hold down shortstop at a high level. - Ben Green

Charlie Heard | C | The Woodlands Christian
Rank #33 ➝ #16

Heard makes a big jump thanks to elite defensive skills behind the plate, where he controls the run game, wins pitches, and blocks with ease. At the Future Games, he not only earned Most Valuable Defensive Catcher honors but also showed his offensive progress, signaling an upward trend for the hit tool. - Ben Green

Cole Flashnick | SS | Highland Park
#35 ➝ #17

Cole makes a significant jump on the list. Cole has always had tools, physically wasn’t there yet. That has changed and will continue to do so moving forward, Cole has added strength allowing for those tools to start to have an impact on what he does on the field. 6.91 60, actions at SS present, arm strength is returning from an ailment early in the spring. Has always performed with bat, ability to impact baseball is starting to show. Will continue to add strength in the future. - Max Semler

Hudson Leonard | OF | Sunnyvale

Defensively steady in OF, moves well to baseball taking nice angles to baseball. Average raw arm strength in future. Love the upside. Athletic, will get stronger, shows developing power and hit approach. - Max Semler

Jamie Chipman | RHP/1B | Academy

Arm works with full circle showing arm speed. Strike thrower with good down plane, will throw harder. Flashes avg action to secondary at times in outings. Will be scouted on the mound in spring of 2027.

Attracts attention at the plate with his ability to impact baseball, hitting em high and far. Free swinger who doesn’t get cheated. Old school approach, “Swing hard in case you hit it”. Defensively can develop in avg defender at 1st. For now…Pitcher over Hitter. - Max Semler

Jacob Lessman | RHP | China Spring
#76 ➝ #42

Lessman has made big strides over the last year. Recently committing to Oklahoma State, this 6’1 170 pound RHP still has a ton of upside. His FB sits 88-90 with some tilt and arm side run. Has some late life. SL has more sweeping action that runs off the barrel of RHH’s. HIs CB has depth to it with good spin. Probably his best secondary pitch. CH sits 83-85, firm. A solid performer this summer. Look for more big jumps in the near future. - Kyle Kilgo

Jackie Bryant | OF | The Bennett School
#108 ➝ #45

Bryant makes a large leap in the rankings after his summer performance. He has a solid build on a good frame. Standing 5 ‘9 and 173 pounds, Bryant gets around the OF well with his 7.03 sixty time. Arm works well with a full/compact backswing. Puts the ball in the air quickly with some arm strength. His biggest weapon is his hit tool. Simple and compact stroke with not much extra movement. Has the ability to hit a ton of extra base hits and drive runs in. Ball to ball skill with some juice that will only continue to improve. - Kyle Kilgo

Connor Ray | SS | Grapevine
#99 ➝ #62

Connor is an athletic LHH SS with feel to play the game. Physically has great build to add strength. Actions at SS with ability to make plays on the move. Hits, hits, hits. Did mention he can hit? Line drive contact showing ability to use all fields. Look for power to develop as he adds strength, will occasionally leave yard to pull side now. 7.01 60, I swear he’s faster in games. Above average instincts on the field. Likely a player were writing about next year because he’s made a significant move on the list again. - Max Semler

Cooper Thomas | OF | Georgetown HS
#141 ➝ #81

Thomas makes a strong jump thanks to his athleticism and speed, posting a 6.61 60-yard dash that translates to range in the outfield with accurate throws carrying through the bag. At the plate, he flashes plus bat quickness and consistent hard contact off the barrel. The combination of speed, defense, and offensive upside gives him an exciting tool set with considerable development potential. - Ben Green

NEWCOMERS

Owen Eastwood | C | Grand Oaks
#32

Eastwood is a recent University of Arizona commit. Standing at 6 ‘1 and 170 pounds, there is a good frame to add even more size and strength. Behind the dish, Eastwood is a very athletic mover. He is soft handed with the ability to knock a ton of balls down. Has a nice short stroke and quick release on his throws. Shows good arm speed. Equally as impressive is his abilities at the plate. Has a calm lower half that moves into position with ease and timing. The upper half has really good rhythm with a loud barrel. Solid upside on a good defensive catcher with the ability to hit. - Kyle Kilgo

Hector Cadena | INF | Laredo United HS
#47

Cadena bursts onto the rankings with electric bat speed and eye-popping swing metrics. Physically built yet athletic, he runs a 6.59 60 and fires 89 mph across the infield, pairing speed with arm strength. The raw power shows in batting practice, where he’s posted a 108 mph exit velocity, and it carried into game action at the Future Games with a towering home run to left. Cadena looks to do damage every time he steps in the box, making him one of the most exciting new names in the class. - Ben Green

Angelo Aprea | C | Needville
#67

Aprea is a good sized kid for his age group, standing at 6 ‘2 200 pounds. A catcher by trade. He has received very well all summer and seems to be an easy target to throw to. Arm is clean and it works well. Shows ability and arm strength to throw guys out from his knees as well. Aprea has been just as consistent at the plate. Shows pull side pop, but doesn’t mind using all fields in the game. Will be exciting watching him keep developing over this next year.  - Kyle Kilgo

Carson White | OF | Iowa Colony

Moves fine on baseball field with 7.1 60. For me, as he continues to develop and firm approach, will hit along with impacting baseball. - Max Semler

Carson Roy | OF | Rock Hill
#98

Roy brings athleticism with room to add strength, running a 6.92 60-yard dash and showing easy power in BP with triple-digit exit velocities and loud contact off the barrel. As he continues to refine his approach, everything points to more consistent production ahead. Defensively, he moves well in the outfield, rounding out a high-upside profile worth following closely. - Ben Green

Evrick Paulino | RHP | SA Reagan
#109

Paulino earns his spot in the rankings after making a strong first impression with a projectable 6’3” frame and a fastball that already plays at a high level. Sitting 88–89 mph with 18.9 inches of induced vertical break and over 13 inches of horizontal movement, the pitch rides late through the zone and creates uncomfortable at-bats. His breaking ball is still developing in the low 70s (71–73) but flashes shape and upside. With size, athleticism, and current feel for his arsenal, there’s plenty more velocity ahead, making Paulino a name to watch. - Kyle Kilgo
