NOTABLE NEWCOMERS IN THE TOP 95 📈

Blake Middleton RHP / OF / Casteel, AZ / 2027

Blake brings an athletic 6'2, 176 pound frame with quick, explosive actions that translate well on the mound. The right-hander has shown consistent gains over the last calendar year, now topping at 90.2 mph with his fastball while working comfortably in the mid to upper 80s. His smooth arm action and natural sling from a three-quarter slot allow for clean deceleration and repeatability, with both the changeup (77–78 mph) and slider (73–76 mph) showing developing shape and spin metrics that hint at future swing and miss potential. The steady climb in velocity, coupled with feel for multiple pitches, gives Blake significant upside as he continues to add strength and maturity to his frame.

Brock Reichwein LHP / Perry, AZ / 2027

At 6'5, 174 pounds, Brock brings one of the more projectable frames in the 2027 class, pairing length with a clean, whippy arm action from the left side. His fastball has already reached 86.7 mph with his avg. spin being 2067 rpm, showing late life and heaviness through the zone. The slider (70–73 mph) works with sharp spin in the 2200+ range and shows flashes of depth, while both the changeup and splitter offer usable offspeed looks with fading action that play off the heater. With good direction down the mound, a high release and athletic movement patterns, Brock owns significant ceiling as the velocity continues to climb and the secondary arsenal sharpens. A high upside left-hander to follow closely moving into the fall and spring seasons.
