Updated Class of 2027 Player Rankings (September)

Throughout the summer we were all over the state, scouting numerous prospects and seeing many new names came to the forefront of the recruiting scene. With that information, we are updating each of our class rankings based off what we have seen.

As summer sports come to an end and the new school season is upon us, we will take a look at "What's New at the Top", "The Risers”, "Prospects To Look At This Fall", and a look some of the top uncommitted prospects by position.

What’s New In The Top 10

The 2027 class in New England has a chance to be special, particularly on the mound. The class should garner a ton of national recruiting attention and MLB presence as the time arrives for them in two years. We look forward to watching them grow and following them through their high school and travel ball journey. 

  • Kaiden McCarthy, quick armed right-hander was up to 95 mph at the Future Games. He showed poise and command throughout the outing.
  • Rock Arnold, impressive left-handed hitting infielder. Showed a plus defensive skill set with power to all fields at the plate.
  • Patrick Bryan, switch-hitting catcher with an advanced skill set. He just gave a verbal to Stanford
  • Brady Collins, right-handed hitting catcher. The skill set is above average across the board. Brady has a verbal commitment to Duke.
  • Seamus Keller, lanky and long right-handed pitcher. His best days are in front of him.
  • Andrew Valentino, RHP, shows a quick arm, plus breaking ball, showing little effort, making it look easy.

The Newcomers

  • Keegan Croucher, high profile 2- sport arm. Projects through the roof on the bump. He is also a high profile football quarterback.
  • Nate Kesselmark, quick arm right-hander who re-classed and showed well at the Future Games
  • Dorian Fortes, big and durable right-hander. The arm is quick and clean.
  • Luke Leger, quick arm left-hander with a plus out pitch.
  • Garrett Falahee, skilled infielder with strength in the bat.
  • Jacob McNeil, athletic and skill left-handed hitting outfielder.
  • Johnny Gally, a right-handed pitcher, showed well at future games, can spin it well.

The Risers

  • Lucas Hodne, athletic right-handed hitting middle infielder. Had a huge week at the Future Games. He has verballed to UConn. 
  • Reid Glanville, long and lanky right-hander with the makings of a power breaking ball.
  • Zachary Floyd, high slotted right-hander who stood out at LakePoint.
  • Caleb Moody, strong right-handed hitting catcher. Can really catch and throw.
  • Amir Cartegena, strong right-handed hitting first baseman. The bat has strength in it.
  • Jack Dorsey, athletic right-handed hitting outfielder. Good looking athlete.
  • Edgar Rodriguez, ultra athletic middle infielder. His skill set is above average.
  • Reid Stanton, right-handed pitcher, powerful arm, upper 80’s with a heavy baseball, breakout summer he had.
  • Jacob Budarz, Right-handed hitter, committed to Rutgers, power guy with lift in his swing.

Below we look to name the top 5 prospects in specific categories based on primary position in profile for the 2027 class rankings. Beyond this group, there are numerous prospects that can help a collegiate program in some capacity.
