Colorado Uncommitted Spotlight: 2027 Middle Infielders

Prep Baseball Colorado Staff

With the release of the latest update to our state rankings for the 2027 class, it’s a great time to take a closer look at some of the top uncommitted prospects in the class. Only a few months have passed since recruiting restrictions were lifted on the 2027s as they began their junior years, so there are numerous big names left on the board. Over the next few days, our staff will highlight five of the top prospects at each position, with a short breakdown of each athlete. First, we'll look at the state's top five uncommitted middle infielders in the class.

Brady Bradford SS / 2B / Fossil Ridge, CO / 2027

Bradford is a great athlete in the infield, with some solid tools across the board. At the plate, we've seen him reach exit velocities in the mid 90s, paired with a nice feel for the barrel. Defensively, we've gunned him at 81 mph throwing across the infield, and he displayed some high level speed, clocking a 6.87 60 yard dash.

Cole Bobbin SS / RHP / Mountain Vista, CO / 2027

A high-upside prospect, with some real potential as a two-way, Bobbin has some present strength with still plenty of room to add more. Defensively, he's got a really nice arm, tossing it across the diamond at 88 mph. There's some evident pop at the plate as well, where he's been in the mid 90s with his EV.

Bret Baldwin SS / RHP / Ralston Valley, CO / 2027

Baldwin is another guy with a big ceiling as he continues to add some more strength to go along with a present toolset with plenty to like. At the plate, he's topped out at 95.8 mph exit velocity, and power carries over to the defensive side where he's been gunned at 85 mph across the infield.

Tyler Feldhake SS / 3B / Castle View, CO / 2027

Feldhake is a physical prospect with the strength to move over to third base as well as the athleticism to hold up defensively at short. At the plate, his exit velocity numbers have topped out at 96.6 mph. He's also displayed some solid speed, clocking a 60 time at 7.01.

Cooper Campbell SS / 2B / Cherry Creek, CO / 2027

Campbell will be an exciting prospect to watch with some impressive metrics. At the plate, he's been into the triple digits EVs, topping out at 100.1. Defensively, he's got nice arm strength, tossing it across the diamond at 86 mph.
