Ricky Lopez SS / SS / Ranney, NJ / 2027
The Louisiana State University commit had one of the loudest and most impressive rounds of batting practice at the Metro Scout Day. The 5 ‘10 and 176-pound shortstop was absolutely mashing baseballs with a gap-to-gap approach, while also displaying his opposite field strength. There was truly a distinct and different sound of the ball coming off Lopez’s bat.

Ethan Lee RHP / OF / Don Bosco Preparatory High School, NJ / 2026Rankings StateRank: 15 / POS: 3
The Virginia Tech commit displayed an electric pitching arsenal during his bullpen. The 6 ‘2 and 205-pound right-hander throws from a high three-quarter arm slot that creates uncomfortable matchups for hitters. His fastball rides at the top of the zone with 20 inches of IVB and sits 91-93 mph. His slider has a bigger break, and he spun up to 2,700 rpm at 78-80 mph. Lee has one of the more dynamic pitch tandems in the entire state of New Jersey.
