The Miami Fall ID took place on Friday, September 19, at loanDepot Park in Miami, FL. The event featured players from the 2026-2029 classes participating in a pro-style workout, followed by bullpens in front of the Prep Baseball Florida Scouting Staff.

Michael Alicea SS / 2B / Montverde Academy, FL / 2027

Athletic middle infielder who can really pick it defensively. Smooth actions with soft hands working under control. Offensively works a line drive, gap-to-gap approach.

Mateo Cardenas C / RHP / William T. Dwyer High School, FL / 2027

Strong framed catcher resulted in some big power numbers during BP. 100.5 max EV while averaging 91.3 mph. Delivered a 1.97 pop time from behind the plate.

Damon Desrochers 3B / RHP / North Broward Preparatory School, FL / 2028

Another strong frame, this time from a corner infielder. Desrochers drove the ball throughout the outfield with a 100.3 exit velo. He had an 80% hard hit rate during his BP round. He recorded above-average Blast numbers with a 72 average bat speed, 10 average rotational acceleration, and 72 average on-plane efficiency.

Kevin Liriano OF / True North Classical Academy, FL / 2027

Liriano showed some juice off the bat from the left side. 97.7 max exit velocity with a max distance of 374 feet. Liriano showed pull-side power potential. He showed off an above-average arm in the outfield as well.

Bryan Mesa SS / SS / Mater Academy, FL / 2028

A top-ranked player in the country with an advanced frame, Mesa showed off some big power with a 97.7 max EV and averaged 91.3 mph. Mesa shows ability to lift and launch on contact which allows him to tap into his power. Mesa showed confidence and soft hands on the dirt during defense.

Aidan Michaux C / 3B / Newberry, FL / 2027

Michaux led the event with a 101.4 EV while averaging 96 mph. He had a 100% hard hit rate in BP, driving the ball gap to gap. He showed athleticism behind the plate with a 1.93 pop time.

Finn O'Brien OF / C / Fort Lauderdale High School, FL / 2026

O'Brien showed some serious juice during BP in Miami. 100.8 max EV while averaging 97.6 mph with a 100% hard hit rate. O'Brien found barrel after barrel with the ability to drive the gaps with authority. O'Brien ran a sub-7 60 and was 84 from the outfield as well.

Randall Riley III C / SS / Venice, FL / 2026

Riley showed well on both sides of the field with strong BP rounds and position versatility on defense. Line drive approach using both parts of the field in BP with a 97.5 EV. 1.88 pop time from behind the plate and showed athleticism at shortstop.

Manuel Santana 3B / RHP / Mater Academy, FL / 2028

Physical frame with power potential reaching 98.5 EV. Drove the ball consistently with above-average bat speed. Also jumped on the mound and was up to 83 mph.

Colten Stephens SS / OF / William T. Dwyer High School, FL / 2027

Stephens impressed all around in Miami. Ability to drive gap to gap with power potential at 95.3 EV. Moved well at shortstop with calm feet and soft hands. Above-average arm at 89 mph across the diamond.
