Our third player rankings update this fall spotlights the Class of 2028, a pivotal group entering a critical year as they aim to catch the eye of college coaches before August 1, 2026. Recent standout events, including the Super Sophomore Games and Florida State Games, have showcased a wealth of emerging talent, allowing us to expand our rankings to include 145 players. Kohen Poplin RHP / SS / Venice, FL / 2028Poplin has some of the biggest upside in this class. Dynamic mover on the mound with a fastball that jumps. Upper 80s/low 90s with more room to get stronger and add velo. Spins a sharp swing and miss breaking ball. Overall, an above-average athlete who can swing it and defend well at short as well. MVP of the 2025 NHSI.
