With the release of the latest update to our state rankings for the 2026 class, it’s a great time to take a closer look at some of the top remaining uncommitted prospects in the class. With plenty of talented players still available, our staff will dive in and highlight the top five uncommitted prospects from each position group. This time, we'll take a look at the five top ranked uncommitted outfielders, with a short breakdown of each prospect.

Drew Grauberger OF / 2B / Lee's Summit West, MO / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 60 / POS: 7 Grauberger is another excellent athlete, clocking a 6.63 60 yard dash time this summer at the US Nationals scout day. The rising senior also showcased a nice arm in the outfield, hitting 85 mph.

Jacob Noland OF / RHP / Kirkwood, MO / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 71 / POS: 9 Noland is one of the stronger outfield prospects in the class, with a powerful bat inching closer to triple digit exit velocities, presently topping out at 98 mph. Defensively, he has a great arm, throwing it in from the outfield at 88 mph.

Chase Roeder OF / Lafayette, MO / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 79 / POS: 10 Roeder is a high-upside prospect, and should see continued jumps in his numbers as he adds strength to his 6'4 frame. Presently, he already put together an impressive metric profile, with triple digit exit velocities while tossing it from the outfield at up to 93 mph.

Trae Peterson OF / LHP / Eureka, MO / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 91 / POS: 13 Peterson has a nice mix of present traits with a good amount left in the tank as he adds some more strength. At the plate, we've seen Peterson produce exit velocities in the mid 90s. Defensively he's got a solid arm in the outfield, throwing it in at 81 mph when we saw him in February

Kade Huffman OF / RHP / Poplar Bluff, MO / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 100 / POS: 14 Huffman is a high ceiling prospect who could see some leaps in his numbers as he adds strength to his long, 6'5 frame. Presently, he's an intriguing two-way prospect whose best trait is his arm strength, tossing it in from teh outifeld at 89 mph. At the plate, we've had his EV in the low to mid 90s.
